• Biography

  Emery's parents weren't around when she was growing up, so she had the opportunity to be raised by her grandparents which helped greatly with shaping her into the woman she is today. As soon as she turned 18, she was on her own and has been independent since then, though keeping close ties with her grandmother. She distances herself from the rest of her family, as she likes to remain away from drama.
  
  Her grandparents were quiet people, raising her on a farm caused Emery to be more isolated than she'd necessarily liked. She was the quiet one in class and usually keeps to herself unless she gets to know someone or someone approaches her first.
  
  Emery has never been in a relationship and tends to think men only want one thing, causing her to stray away from anyone who shows interest, though she's always dreamed of being swept off of her feet, after all, what woman hasn't dreamed of that?
  
  Being 23 had its perks, she could go get wine and be drunk by herself when the situation called for it, and she was an adult, which was technically the best part. Emery tried college out and only finished a few semesters before she decided she wanted to work full time instead of dig a deeper whole into debt. She works as an editor for a journalist and loves every minute of it, more so than she probably should, as she tends to focus more on work than making sure she has time for herself.
  
  Overall, Emery is quiet, intelligent, and loving, but only the people closest to her will ever know her deeply.
