  Physical Forms:

  Chimera: Default appearance- humanoid upper body, lower body of a bull with the front paws of a lion and metal back feet with bird likequalities. Feathered tail with scroll.

  Humanoid: Used for "blending in", feathered tail becomes a sort of split poncho.

  Quetzacoatl: Rarely used due to energy cost, appears as a long feathered serpent with his helmet becoming the face. Metallic bird legs can sprout from the body if needed.

  
  Species:
  Magical creatures that are born as sprites in tomes and grow as they consume knowledge. Their appearance changes and varies depending on what they eat. Over time they begin to hoard books and other items of knowledge in libraries that become their lair.
  As humanity has evolved their natural curiosity and greed has resulted in the mass hunting and harvesting of these nests for their loot, either leaving the creature to starve or taking them into their cities for selfish purposes.
  The eldest specimens have been rumoured to rip the memories right out of someones mind; an appealing and fearsome ability in the wrong hands.
  
  Personality:
  Despite putting up a literally large and imposing front, Quille is incredibly impressionable and gullible - especially to people he idolises. He is new and unused to interacting with real people, having only read about them before which can lead to misunderstandings with sarcasm or more recent developments in colloquial language.
  He can be incredibly stubborn in order to get what he wants but can be deterred if something is too scary (more often a mundane social thing is more terrifying, rather than a physical threat which he can bluff with his larger size).
  
  Background:
  Quille was born leeching off a stone tablet that described the tales of a great heroic figure of an ages old culture, his developed taste for stories of myth, heroes, bravery and cunning have shaped him to take on features of a lion, bull, eagle, serpent and elephant. All fearsome creatures in their own right, though he is more akin to a child playing dress-up in his favourite hero's costume.
  
  Donning a garish and (in his opinion at least) the coolest helmet in existence, he has set out of his meagre lair in search of finding the heroes he idolises... shame he doesn't know that he's been reading fiction.
  
  This unusual diet of fairy tales has left his growth stunted as an adolescent, he can puff himself up to look like a fearsome beast though ultimately it's all just hot air.

  Puffer Fish - Due to his stunted growth, Quille lacks the power and magic to change his mass when transforming, resulting with either a humanoid form with the weight of an adult man, a chimera form that can easily be toppled over with a hearty push, or the giant feathered serpent which could be blown away with the wind.

  Movement - In his quetzacoatl form, he is able to float in the wind. Flaring his mane to push himself along akin to a jellyfish in water

  Uncoordinated - Suddenly changing size but not having the mass to back it up leads to some clumsy situations.

  Fanboy - Like many children, they learn by copying their idols. Quille will mirror people he thinks are cool to try and be accepted

  Finite Resource - Once a book is "consumed, it's pages will go blank.

  Wick - Scroll length (tail) grows longer or shorter depending on how much he's eaten, words of what he's read will be visible along the scroll and slowly disappear as he digests them.
