• History

  Miru tends to giggle at the human's depictions of "mer" people. What would they do with all that hair and fish legs? That makes them more fish that person! The Cepha have been theorized to be an ancestor of humans that continued to evolve deep in the oceans instead of making their way onto land. Living in the deep sea, the Cepha developed cuttlefish like defense mechanisms such as the ability to change their outward appearance which has been further perfected by breeding an advances in technology. They have spent centuries unaware that life existed above the surface of their home but due to new depressurizing technology, explorers can now venture up to learn about the slightly less advanced humans.
  
  One such explorer stayed above as an ambassador, becoming the well known masked (well, helmeted) hero Tecton a part of his double-life. Decades after his appearance, he was joined by his granddaughter who began fighting crime with him. Eager to make a difference, and while the encouragement of her mentor, Miru-Miru sought out other young heroes to create their own team.
  
  Currently Miru still lives with her grandfather but loves going out among the humans to learn more of their strange culture.
