  Roy is by no means a mage but has developed some magical skills to help improve his abilities as a hunter. The most common form of Magic he can use augments his vision, typically resulting in a combination of night vision, inferred vision, and the ability to see footprints that otherwise are invisible.
  
  This ability allows him to easily track potential prey or outlaws in any light condition, (The darker the better) but can also be used against him. He can't see cold-blooded animals or people who managed to somehow mask their body heat with mud or people who stand in front of an extremely hot object like a bonfire or a desert. He depends on it almost nonstop so those who know about it can easily exploit his over-reliance on it.
  
  Other then that he has the ability to turn himself invisible, but only if he is stationary or moves very slowly. If he is startled or loses focus for some reason, his invisibility ends with a loud noise sure to alert anyone nearby. He also knows a small, almost harmless fire spell. It won't do crap in a fight, but ideal for lighting campfires and the like without the need to carry around a tinderbox, helping him travel light.
  
  Lastly is his ability to shape organic materials like clay within reason. Give him a twisted branch, he can make it straight enough for an arrow, give him a bone, he can turn it into an ivory flute or razor sharp arrowheads that can pierce steel.
