Open, bright, and friendly are words that are often used to describe Juniper. He's a confident young man, often preferring to wear sportswear and less clothing. Shoes are something he often forgoes if he's allowed to, not really enjoying how restrictive he finds them. Juniper is a kind-hearted and loving guy. He's constantly looking for ways to help those around him, and to help nurture and provide for those he cares about. Deeply motivated by friendship. He's extremely cheerful, often a bit sassy, and sometimes rather silly. One of his main issues is a pathological blind eye towards danger. He wants to be responsible and enjoys being responsible, but often ends up going 'this is fine' in situations where it is incredibly not fine and struggles to recognize when he's having that response. Instead he will attempt to struggle through and shrug off when bad things happen to him. Often he desperately craves affection and attention from others, to the point of being willing to sacrifice his morals to get it.
He's not exceptionally good at magic, although he does his damnedest. Right now all he's good at is turning into a dog. Naturally his other type of magic trends towards the control of electricity, but unfortunately his poor control has resulted in accidentally hurting himself. He has scars from lichtenburg burns down his right arm and chest. He avoids using this kind of magic as much as possible, because he fears hurting himself and others. It's a last resort, that he'd rather never have to pull.
Mostly raised by his mother, he's endured some hardships that he tries to make the lightest of. He's very tight lipped about some incidents that happened to him when he was small, and that resulted in his parents split. His father was also a shapeshifter. Meanwhile his mother possesses no affinity for magic.
