In the shadows beneath the fresh spring leaves of the ancient forest where the pale light of the full moon could not reach a flicker of violet light sparked in the darkness seeming at first to be a strange windblown candle fighting to stay alight, winking desperately in and out of existence. Then suddenly with a rush of violet color flame black smoke and a bright flash the fire exploded and was gone just as quickly leaving behind a man. Soft leather boots flashed with violet fire with every step leaving a trail of fading charred footprints behind him, long black cloak billowed in the light breeze to reveal the mans lack of any apparent weapons and his simple cotton pants, black leather vest and royal purple long-sleeved tunic all cinched by a wide many pouched belt. Lavender eyes scanned the clearing before him as he came fully into the pale light, taking in the entire clearing and any inhabitants before alighting on the small two story tavern that he had often frequented in his younger days. Though his features showed him to be only around his late twenties Ashmandai Bra'Hadair has seen the birth and death of nearly three centuries. With a breath of the clean fresh air of the lakeside clearing and a wave of his hand followed by a flash of violet flames that summoned a four foot walking stick to him he moved towards the welcome sight of the Mystic Tavern
