  - Enjoys reading about the occult, whether it is known fiction or holds true, she enjoys the mere concept of there being more than mortal folk and the single plane she resides in, thinking of what planes and the beings that reside could be like and how they would interact with each other and mortals alike.
  - As the saying goes, "Curiosity killed the cat," but since they all have nine lives, she believes that she'll be fine, liking to dabble in the things written in the pages of her books, whether or not anything happens she cares not, if something does occur is a bonus, since most, if not all the times she had done things of this nature before, they usually show the holes in their so-called truth.
  - Thanks to an 'interesting' encounter with her new patron, her preference in the more personal activities have grown quite substantially.
  
  Abilities/Powers: With the creation of a pact with her patron, Avaline now has a multitude of abilities.
  - Shadow manipulation: Avaline is able to create and controls shadows around her, turning it into clothing, weapons, minion, etc, etc, though the native state the created shadow forms is that of tentacles that move as by her will as if a part of her.
  - Violet fire: Avaline is able to create and master darkened flames, fire that is tainted by the power that her patron gave to her.
  - Possession: Though not used, Avaline was told that she has the ability to possess another, how and in which way, she has yet to figure out due to the lack of experience in the ability.
  - Shrinking rune: Avaline is able to create a rune that once enchanted by her power has the ability to shrink a normal person down to the size of a fairy, for whatever reasons you might have to do so.
