• Bio

  He is Allarion's (Rio's) twin.
  
  Born of a human and demon, Erebrus had a pretty simple life save for two specific parts of it.
  When him and Rio were kids, about 5 years old, their human mother was captured and killed by her own people. The people of the town they had lived in had heard rumor that she had given birth to demons. Fearing that the father was a demon,t he people waited until he was out before coming after her. She hid Rio and Erebrus in an empty crate out near the boarders of the village and used illusions in their place to draw the people away without making them suspicious. She was captured and burned.
  When their father returned, he realized what had happened, found them sleeping in the crate, and burned the town into ash along with all the people in it. Defying the gods, he hid the children back in the crate, locked away their demonic powers and erased their memories of him, then caught the attention of the king of the land. The king sent his envoys to check out the area and there they found the children. The demon was already long gone.
  Their mother was the youngest princess of the royal family and had kept contact with her sisters. The sisters knew about her children, unaware that they were half demons, but recognized them when they were brought to the palace. They took the children in and raised them as young princes. They would never claim the throne, so they trained as magicians to serve the king.
  
  Erebrus has a talent for ice/water magic that was evident from the very beginning. He is calm, cool, quiet and has an aura that turns people away from him. The exact opposite of his brother in every way but in looks (to a degree), they grew to be quite popular. Erebrus was usually stuck covering up for Rio's messes, getting dragged around and into trouble, and acting as Rio's bodygaurd because Rio was too oblivious to sense danger and would rather make friends than fight. Erebrus prefers keeping to himself and yet, he is always with Rio. Rio understands him and leaves him to have his own space most of the time, even tolerating Erebrus's need to go hide in the library to read while Rio naps by the window int he sun like some weird cat.
