• Physical Description

  Sophrona, though her ancestors hail from the Northern Mountains, is considered "Un-Mountain" due to her agile and small body type instead of the bulky type of the Mountain People.
  Soph has Runes, Markings, Tattoos, Sigils, and all other forms of magical symbols painted and embedded in her skin. Upon looking at her, anyone from the Lands could tell she was experienced and extremely powerful.
  She's a little smaller than the average woman so some think she's younger than she actually is. She has pale skin, missing its youthful glow due to her laborious background and years spent under clouds and not sun. She has incredibly long, blonde hair that she keeps tightly pinned back from her face and in a braid that brushes her tailbone. Her eyes, blue, shine bright like the ocean during the summer sun.

• Personality Description

  Sophrona is a very rare type of person in the Lands.
  Despite all the power she holds within her, she isn't afraid to express her emotions openly and proudly. Some wear their hearts on their sleeves, but Soph wears hers on her chest.
  It would seem like Soph has mood swings, but actually, she is just very protective of those around her and will go from merciless interrogator to long-time-friend in the span it takes to introduce yourself.
  Soph is able to easily tell if someone is friend or foe, making her seem naive with whom she trusts, but those who know her know to trust her judgment in people. She has too much magic swirling in her veins to be blind to the truth.

• Backstory

  Orphaned at the age of 6, Soph was forced to live with her bed-ridden, manipulative grandmother. Soph had to learn how to fend for herself at a very early age. Lucky for Sophrona, her mother had been the best Runist in her Land and had gifted Sophrona a Rune of Perseverance and Compassion, fore her mother knew that the balance between the two was often one-sided.
  It wasn't long until Soph's grandmother passed away. Soph, living in world where orphanages were a privilege, found herself on the streets. She made home in a local library, learning everything she could from the books her mother had read to her when she was in the womb. Soph soon heard of the mystical Land of Sky and Cloud, where people known as Vexes used long, elegant flags as their tool of magic.
  Soph worked her way through the Lands until she reached the base of the Land she dreamt of, and, with enough coin in her pocket, trained from the age of 8 to 18 to become one the world's best Vexes. Her lightning scar is a Mark of Graduation, meaning she was able to complete her training. The Mark is given when one is able to cast lightning, the final test of a Vex.
  But Soph was not satisfied. The Runes she had collected on her journey demanded more companions to work with, so Soph made her way to the Land of Mountains to bury herself in Runes. It only took 2 years for her to master their skill and to collect a copy of every tome that held all the knowledge she would need.
  Next, Soph traveled to the Land of Desert to learn their ancient but simple tactic of White Ink Tattoos. The White Ink, imbued with magic only High Elders knew how to create, was created to stand out on the dark skin of their native people, but it blends in with Soph's pale skin. Despite the Desert People's adversity to sharing their secrets, Soph carefully befriended a local village and was granted a Full Body Conductor. The Tattoo outlined her sharp bone structure to help the magic in her find easy paths to flow out of.
  Soph, only 22 years old, then traveled to the Land of Kings. She stayed on the outskirts, preferring the Native People's customs more than the King's People. She soon met a Triple Souled (a person with no binary gender assigned by the King's Custom) who granted Soph with something highly coveted and nearly impossible to find: A way to Exorcise demons without speaking a complicated spell. The Sigil, carved into her left palm, is what she uses to save whoever she can find in time to use it on.
  Now 23, Soph has dedicated herself to protecting anyone cursed with a demon all the while planning a coup on the King who sits on a throne of greed and tyranny.
