GENDERS: Male and female are just as common as intersex and/or non-binary individuals, unlike humans. Intersex and non-binary individuals are considered best for being wise-ones and scholars because of their unique world-view. Males are often merchants, while females are often in leadership positions.
HEIGHT: All genders vary wildly in height, but are often at the two extremes - one individual may be 5-foot-even while another may be 6’6” or taller, before counting their horns.
WEIGHT: Much like other Norse figures like Asgardians and Vanir, their bone and tissue density far surpasses mortals and they can weigh up to twice that of an equivalent-sized human/furre.
BUILD: Usually stout, muscular creatures (even the women), though the males are by far the most overtly muscled. They are a sturdy people, yet with delicate feet and hands. Fat and thin individuals do exist, of course!
SKIN: Their skin in varying shades of earth (brown, gray, black, red, sandy, etc.) but can rarely have skin come in white or jewel tones such as ruby and sapphire. Those born under a new moon are the only ones that have this rare skin coloring. Sometimes, adult fjandi may have fur in patches on their skin.
HAIR: Their hair is usually stark white, but can also be any natural human shade, or jewel shade. Any birth time is common for all hair colors.
EYES: Can be any jewel shade. Human-like round pupils, cat-like slit pupils, or very small pupils. The latter can have difficulty seeing in bright light.
EARS: Usually pointed, delicate, and small, like a stereotypical elf's ear. Some have fluffy ears that mirror their chosen animal's however.
HORNS: They all have two horns that sprout from their brows and curl backwards and/or inwards. The older the fjandi, the longer and sharper their horns. They can be matte or shiny in texture.
AGING AND DEATH: Although technically immortal, they age normally up until their mid twenties, where they can only die from being decapitated and separated from their bodies, and immersed in holy water. Holy symbols from every religion, as long as the user’s belief is strong enough, can harm them permanently.
HEALTH AND INJURY: Fjandi recover quickly from injury and can even regrow entire limbs thanks to their supernatural origins.
HANDS: Retractable claws are the only non-human aspect of their hands.
LEGS AND FEET: They have anthropomorphized, digitigrade (walks on their toes like cats, dogs, etc.) legs with animal-like toes, paw pads, and claws for easy climbing. See reference images for examples. No hooves!
GENITALS: Their genitals mirror those of humans save for the fact that they are hairless and phalluses have no foreskin.
TAILS: Depending on if the animal species chosen has a long tail or not, fjándi tails are prehensile.
ADDICTIVE FLUIDS: Blood, sweat, saliva, and genital fluid all have addictive properties (creating a drug-like high and/or arousal) to most beings. Demons and angels are not as susceptible to them.
ALLURING SCENT: To anyone suceptible to their powers, they will smell of the other person's absolute favorite scent. Whether that be a food, or freshly cut grass, what have you.
