TEMPERAMENT: Fjándi are usually playful, sometimes lusty creatures and are often compared to incubi and succubi from a more biblical strain of demon. Variants exist, and their personalities can be as varied as humans and furres but are usually more laid back than others find acceptable. This often gets them called apathetic or lazy.
CULTURE AND RELIGION: Fjándi do not have much in the way of heritage other than their religion of the Norse pantheon (Odin, Thor, etc). Freyja is considered their patron goddess as it is their species collective standard of love and sexuality as being the most valued attribute in an individual. Whether or not she created them is up for some debate. Some worship Hela, the goddess of Hel, the frigid realm of the undead, as their creator instead.
They have holidays celebrating sexuality, the winter, and the usual Norse holidays of Yule, Ostera (Spring Equinox), Midsummer, Fallfeast (Autumn Equinox), and Harvestfest (despite not having much of an agricultural nature, food is often shared by mortals with the fjándi in exchange for keeping the forests safe and hunts bountiful). Climbing - an important part of their lifestyle - is taught to children as young as 1.5 years old.
SEXUALITY AND REPRODUCTION: Fjándi are usually highly promiscuous creatures. They often utilize other races to reproduce, as the fjándi genes are dominant. However, that isn’t to say outliers don’t exist. Some prefer to abstain from sex in defiance of their species’ usual nature. As such, asexuality is unfortunately considered odd by other fjándi.
