Nefer the Anubis Knight

You look at their faces, and see the inhumane features on the body of a human. Only when all-mighty Ra takes the sun behind the horizon, Anubis' loyal servants show their true skin. The noble beasts roam the endless seas of sand, preventing humanity's death ahead of time.

Nefer belongs to a long line of Anubis Knights, a race created by Anubis himself to protect the lands from necromancers and other creatures of chaos. At least, that's what the Knights were taught to believe. The original legends have been long lost, clouded now by many others myths humans tell to each other, suspicious of these odd sentient were-jackals.

The noble cause to protect humanity from the chaos motivated Nefer put his best in his whole training and devote his whole life to Anubis, the protector of the deceased.
When his training was complete, he was allowed to leave his home to offer his services to the world and teach his believes to the others. To this day he seeks a good and steady cause to follow.

The world he lives in.
Nefer has no world/fandom he comes from originally, so he can be used in any world possible, as long as it fits with the world building established in "Anubis Knight Lore" that plays a big part in his character development.

No furry stories.
I'm not looking for a furry stories, only play with the idea of characters and creatures from mythology. I'm bored of supernatural humans that simply look like humans or have only few odd features, like teeny-weeny horns or wings.
Nefer is a were-jackal, yes, but he absolutely has no idea what yiffing is, nor does he feel comfortable if being fetishised due to his night-time appearance.
If you have a idea for half-beast like human or a sentient mythological creature, feel free to suggest one, like followers of Bastet, as long as it makes sense. Like breasts on lizard-people even though reptiles don't produce milk. Come on, be more creative!

Mythology.
I might not be expert on Egyptian mythology, mainly because there are no clear stories or facts, seeing how old they are, so I wish for a RP friend who won't bee too judgmental if some mythology gets a little mixed up. As long as the MAIN parts won't bee mixed up, such as Hades and Anubis not being evil gods just because their jobs involve death, then I'm okay with that.
