Irene wasnt born into her family, they found her by accident. The old fisherman was coming in from getting in the nets, when he saw Irene on the shore, her leg missing, still bleeding, she was different, but only a little child, not more than 4 years old. He took her in and together with his wife they raised her, not being able to have kids of their own.

Irene was kept a secret from the outside, of course their small fisher village knew, but she lived a normal life in the winter and until the tourists came and went, in that period she was homeschooled by a couple of the teachers from school.

She did have some type of abilities, making her aware of the sea and how it would behave a few days ahead, so the fishermen began consulting her to gain knowledge about storms.

However even if everything is perfect in the little village, Irene dreams of seeing more of the world, and meeting more people, but she also knows not everyone will understand.
