Magic: Dynamic Sorcery: Distilled aetheric essence is drawn upon by the spirit, and used to alter properties of reality. Is often regarded as "true magic" in Lucas' world, with the very broad capability to be applied to selected properties from a broad overarching forces for improvised spell casting - (Time may be used to alter gravitational constants, accelerate healing, or cast illusions by altering light and sound). This utility is counterbalanced by drawing directly on the caster's spirit and living energy, and is potentially deadly for spirits that do not have an innate affinity for a particular element, or are not strong enough to wield it. Dynamic resonance may also produce unexpected or adverse effects.

Enhanced Magic: Lucas' spirit is remarkably powerful when in his dragon form. Can perform water, healing, and time magic with much greater ease and effect with little to no risk to himself.

Appearance & Reputation
In a world of corrupt societies and dangerous predators, one might never think to see such a noticeable and small creature venturing by himself in the world. Some knew him as Lucas White, a healer who traveled the world in search of helping those in need by any means he could. He often carried a simple pack and pouch filled with books, food, a change of clothing, and medical supplies to help creatures in need, both those sentient and not.
His eyes were bright blue, complimented by soft white fur, a pink nose, and bright red hair. His clothing would change depending on the task, from the ominous black attire and heavy coat of a plague doctor, to the more adventurous dark green tunic with leather straps and a cloak to weather the elements on a long journey. At his waist rested a leather bound book, protected within a handsome waterproof case. At night, he is sometimes seen writing in the pages of well worn book, often logging the events of his travels, his thoughts, and memories – making it an item of great sentimental value to himself, as well as those he had previously traveled with.
Though he rarely made any open display, he was also well versed in healing magic, and given a waning reputation for removing curses and incurable diseases. Such feats were not easy to come by, and those who actively searched for his treatment often ended in tragedy. Still, his training in magic would leave an agreeably warm resonance for those who could sense magical creatures, causing less sentient creatures of a predatory nature to refrain from attacking him, and sometimes even protect him. Though his good nature and spirit would attract many, he was often seen drinking strong liquors, and one would assume it was a means of coping with the harsh experiences he endured, for sharing in the suffering of those you care for required a great deal of emotional endurance for him.

Senji the Dragon
Like his ancestors before him, the celestial dragon Shéngē guarded what was sacred, held great value in life, and gave his blessings to those who sought it. He was a guardian of the spirit world, and was regarded as an elder brother to many dragons. Some would seek his council in times of hardship, and even held respect for his lesser guests who were often considered to be vastly inferior to dragon kind. Though the dragon commanded great power over storms and life, he spent a great deal of his time in meditation, indulging an appetite of curiosity towards all walks of life.
Though he lived for thousands of years, light is inevitably brought into balance with darkness. Such was the way of nature. Understand, however, there is a nature of evil which strikes true awe and terror in even the most sadistic of creatures. Deeds so foul, that even demons feel jealousy and shame, for where the underworld was the darkness, the nameless void was the blinding abyss. A great warrior came to the dragon, one who commanded the alien powers of this aphotic plane. The warrior willed destruction upon the dragon, to remove both body and spirit from all things living, and infect the world with agonizing wails. The one who stood in his way was the guardian of the celestial planes, Shéngē, for the wellspring of power this sacred place held may have given the cursed warrior the ability to reshape the world in his twisted image.
The Dragon Shéngē never wished harm upon another, never wished to fight. It was an act of cowardice, and a betrayal to his family for abusing the powers he had been trusted with for the benefit of others. However, he was forced to act against his nature, and honored the oath he made to his lineage with a battle which scarred the earth and the skies. He could not allow the indiscriminate slaughter the Cursed One would bring upon the living, done so for no greater purpose than to sate an insatiable lust for mindless torture. Perhaps it was that lust to make others suffer that provided Shéngē the opportunity to take the Cursed One’s life, but it was done so at the cost of his own.
Those of the void have the power to destroy the spirit, as they were the antithesis of the celestials, but the evil creature could not take the spirit of Shéngē before its death. The dragon’s spirit returned to the world, experiencing several lifetimes, but never awakening. It was only by accident of the small and adventurous spirit of Lucas White that the sacred dragon began to stir from its slumber. Guardians who protected the enchanted places which gave this world life aided in the awakening. The first, a fallen hero, awakened his spirit. The second, an elemental dragon, and his younger brother, healed his tormented mind. The third, the spirit of life, revived a vessel akin to young Shéngē, to better house the reincarnated spirit, which gave Lucas the imposing body of a dragon.
Lucas White (or Senji) continues in his travels, seeking these mystical corners of the world. Undeniably, it was for the purpose of attaining power, but not with a corrupt ambition. Lucas had witnessed a lifetime of cruelty, both for himself and for others, for villains as well as heroes. He accepted that he was given the opportunity to awaken this spirit, to impart a greater influence in a world that desperately needed it. The trails that still awaited him would be of great moral conflict. Like how he had died in his past life, things like kindness and wisdom could not correct what was objectively evil. Good will was a luxury, and required a position that allowed it to be exercised. His strength continued to be limited when compared to others, and he would see again firsthand that true evil could not be reasoned with.

RP Preferences
Semi-Para to Para RP - If you don't take the RP seriously, I won't either. I'm pretty flexible, and my standards aren't super high. Just show me you care, and I'm sure we'll make a nice story.
Plot - I enjoy building stories with people. Medieval fantasy mostly, dark themes are fairly common.
Sexual RP - No thanks! I'm not here for that. Part of a plot? That's fine, but I won't go into detail with it.
Long Term - I used to GM for tabletops. Sorry to say, but if you drop out of a story, the story moves on without you.

That's pretty much it, I'm into other RP stuff, but those are just my biggest preferences. The only RED LIGHT is Random Explicite Sexual RP - sorry friends, live your truth, but I'm just not into it.
Additional RP/Story-building Views
These are just my views, I know some (or a lot) of people won’t agree with them, but if you care to know the how’s and why’s behind my RP and world building, it’s here for your viewing. Why share this?-- Transparency and honesty is key to finding a good story partner, and if you have an interest in building a story with me, and if our views don’t align, then we will eventually butt heads.
Keep in mind these aren’t rules, it is just the logic I follow when making a story. If what happens doesn’t make any sense for the story, then it won’t be part of the story (It doesn’t mean I won’t RP it still). If in the rare case you are interested in being a contributing editor (I plan to publish a book) then this might be good for you to read. Otherwise, this is inconsequential, and just gives you a better idea of me.
Powergaming is Usually Metagaming
I know the distinction between both terms, but we should also be aware of the similarities. A character with great power and purpose, able to reach and influence every corner of a multiverse isn’t going to be sitting with a bunch of ordinary people bragging about it in their spare time. 'That’s how the character is' is bullshit, and we know it. That’s exactly like saying if you personally had the superpowers you’ve always wanted, that you’re going to be sitting here at the computer doing the exact same things you were doing when you didn’t have those powers, because 'That’s how I am'. So forcing your character into a situation they wouldn’t be in (because we personally want to see our character interact in a part of the world that interests us) is Metagaming.
Too Much Detail is a Bad Thing
Ever hear of “Too many chefs spoils the broth”? It applies to both small and large scale things. What do I mean?—Try to find a happy medium. Lots of detail leaves nothing to the imagination, and it leaves a character or story so rigid that it’s incapable of change. It removes any element of wonder, surprise, suspense, or anything else, because we already know how everything’s going to pan out. Too little detail (I believe) is just as bad as too much, just like when you make a meal: having no spice makes it taste like crap, and overloading spices also tastes like crap. Lastly, it prevents a good story from progressing by getting hung up on the details. Not everything needs to be explicitly explained; it’s good to let readers piece things together with their own imaginations (because they’re not stupid or uncreative, and it’s not nice to treat readers that way).
Be Honest, and Don't Get Discouraged
I know it’s easy to be discouraged, most of us have had a lot of bad RP and story building experiences. Personal examples: people throwing temper tantrums, someone needing to feel like they’re in control of everything, people trying to rip your clothing off, copy and pasting memes from pop culture into character dialogue. I’m not shaming these things, I just hate when they’re kept a secret and suddenly sprung on you. It makes everything feel like a really big waste of time when you are deliberately mislead and suddenly run into ulterior motives, but all of that just comes from being dishonest with your partner! Communicate! Don’t forget that there is always someone out there looking for the same things that you are. There are people out there who want to rage with you, give you control, rip clothing off, and share pop culture references through their characters. That may not be my thing, but I want you to be happy if it’s your thing, and instead of ending it badly with both of us being disappointed, let’s just be transparent about our interests instead. It does a world of good.
