Rory Hamilton

Born to Zion and Elinor Hamilton, Rory's earliest memories were of her mother telling her that she was a boy and must always act like a boy. That she would be the next king and just had to survive until then. So she did. She was raised as the heir apparent to Zion and groomed to take his place on her father's death.

Eventually, she found out the differences between her and the other boys. As she grew up Rory was constantly kept out of the sight of most people. It was a rare sight to see Rory out and about. Because of her father's lack of care for the country and its people this wasn't seen as weird. Most believed that it was because the king simply refused to look at anyone who wasn't a female. This was a serious point of contention for her as she grew but one thing was certain, she was never going to be like her father.

Deadset on this Rory made sure that she knew how to run the country her father was slowly destroying. Then, the revolution began on her eighteenth birthday and she alone escaped from the carnage in the castle. This was only the start of her new existence as Rory, the female maid.
