  • Biography

    Yemon spent half his life in Japan and half his life in a small immigrant community of Los Angeles. He has spent years perfecting his melee skills in order to receive the family Klaive, but has also grown more attached to the Los Angeles Ghost Wolf community than his family would prefer. His mother, a noteworthy Storm Lord in the Angeles Territory, finds his affinity for the Ghost Wolves of the LA distasteful. However, other members of the Storm Lords have encouraged it due to his ability to spy on and influence the small decentralized community to a certain extent.

    Yemon even went so far as to join a pack that was devoted to purging LA at any cost called the Oncoming Storm. For many the pack was a stepping stone to better things since those who stayed in it too long had a tendency to die, but Yemon not only stayed in it, he eventually became the pack leader after the death of their previous Alpha. This put Yemon in an unexpectedly high position among both the Get of Fenris Lodge and the Ghost Wolves that often felt the Oncoming Storm Pack as defenders while the tribes bent the knee to the lodges.

    Yemon bares several tattooed glyphs, though none of them are fetish scars. His attire is normally blends nicely with whatever neighborhood he finds himself in, but it is almost always dark. He rarely carries his family Nagamaki outside of the forest, but normally has his Wakizashi hidden within whatever hoody or jacket he is wearing. Normally, he will not carry anything other than the weapon he intends to kill with and the clothes on his back, preferring to travel unencumbered.

  • Daishō

    Stinger Blade – A Wakizashi fetish with a wasp-spirit bound to it. The blade is blunt and cannot break skin apart from at the tip, but the spirit causes intense pain and sever bruising with each strike. Used for subduing enemies and close quarters combat. (No modifiers)

    Klaive (No Spirit) – A silver Nagamaki past down by his clan that is only infused with spirits upon completion of a trial by the clan’s elder. Normally this takes the form of a mission of some sort. In spite of Yemon’s accomplishments he has yet to receive the chance to make the weapon a proper klaive. A Nagamaki looks like an oversized katana with a longer handle that requires two hands in homid form but is a good fit for one hand in Gauru form. Used in open spaces. (+1 melee, -1 when using gifts)

    • Shōgun: Yemon’s presence on the battlefield inspires confidence in all who fight, even those who have no taste for battle. (Any negative modifiers due to lack of fighting skill are negated. Example: A person with 0 Brawl does not get -2 modifier to brawl attacks)
    • Daishō: The term Daishō refers to the matching pair of swords carried by Samurai. (+1 when using either of his bound weapons)
    • Rock Garden: Given a moment Yemon can arrange an area to maximize the flow of Spiritual energy. (Takes several moments or loses a turn. If successful Gnosis is restored to allies and Wyrmspawn receive a -1 penalty to all actions.
    • Rōnin: Though Yemon still identifies as a Hakken he was, in truth, cast out. He still hopes to unite the disaffected Ghost Wolves into the Moon Tribes, but unfortunately has a deficit of trust on both sides. (-1 to all Diplomatic, Charisma, Manipulation, Empathy, Presentation, or Leadership rolls with any Moon Tribe or Ghost Wolf members who do not know him personally.)
    • Shame: Yemen still bears the shame of being cast out from the Hakken Clan Lodge every day. What’s worse is having to deal with the Uratha he is trying to guide day in and day out. So, although he is known for his composure, when his honor is questioned he tends to lose focus and may lash out verbally (or even issue a challenge depending on the slight).
