    On the surface, Ettie’s a bundle of enthusiasm, generosity, and energy, albeit occasionally insensitive and marginally out of touch. A bit of an impish streak and a lack of boundaries emerge around those he’s close with, but he handles more serious with curated cheerful professionalism– Aside from the times he snaps, that is. Close friends and those who work with him know to brace themselves for his volatility when things don’t go as planned.

    Beneath all his pastels and drawn-out vowels, Ettie harbors deep-seated self-loathing, craves validation, and fears abandonment. His constant desire for affirmation can make close relationships stifling, though he regards others as generally disposable.
