Jayla Cragsterm

Upon first sight, it is obvious that Jayla is a surprisingly frail dragoness. She is long and skinny, standing at 5'7" at the shoulder, and her body is around 21'5" in length from nose to tail tip. She is mostly covered in pale, purple-grey scales, except for her belly which is lined with sky-blue plates from the bottom of her jaw to halfway down her tail. Bright, yellow-gold stripes line her back and three appear on her lower wing-arms. Her wings are sky-blue, fading to near-white at the ends of the membrane, and are very tattered. Their wingspan measures about 13'5". Her tail is tipped with three yellow-gold spikes, one larger one at the very end and two slightly short ones framing its sides. Under her stomach, two long, gnarled scars twist across her skin, ending just behind her right shoulder. Her claws and wing talons are an ivory white, and some are slightly chipped. Her front right paw is missing a digit; the outward-most toe is just a stump.

She has three pairs of white horns on her head, sharp and slightly curved downwards. The top pair, the largest, has small spikes branching off at the base of the horn. Long, curly dark gold-yellow mane grows from her head to nearly the end of her tail. It is wild and unkempt, loosely falling over her face and back. She has a long face, similar to a crocodile--a shape most Votempa dragons share--and just as toothy. In fact, most of her teeth are so large as to awkwardly stick out the sides of her mouth, even when its closed. Her eyes are heterochromic: her left eye is a vibrant sapphire blue, and her right is a leafy green.

Sometimes seen around her tail is a silver cuff, with constellations carved into it. It seems very important to her.

Starry Tail Cuff: A simple tail cuff made of pewter. Constellations are etched into it. It was a gift from Nocturna, and she holds this item in high regard, wearing it very often.

Scuffed Sending Crystal: A small, imperfectly carved sphere, specifically connected to one that Maven carries. It's a little battered, but well-used. Mostly for emergencies.
