My 'ilhar' and older sister were cleaved quite swiftly by my blades when they weren't expecting it, believing that after my father's murder I would become more like a fearful ryid in their presence. I didn't wash their blood off my hands for days, I enjoyed looking at it."

Yivrul stands at 5 feet nine inches, tall for a Drow, and weighs about 130 lbs. His handsome features are sharp and well proportioned. His eyes have a lavender hue very like those of Drizzt, another Drow who left the Underdark. When Yivrul uses his infravision his eyes do not glow red which is a typical trait of the Drow.
Typically similar to Drizzt, Yivrul suffers headaches when using his infravision, this is due to the amount of time he has spent on the surface, though it has only been several years. He has become used to a certain amount of brightness, but if it is too bright, he will again experience headaches.
Yivrul usually wears a uniquely designed leather and mail armour he had acquired while traveling in another realm. The armour is simple to repair and the metal rings are made from Laerolite, a dark mineral, non-corrosive, and has a high melting point.
Yivrul carries two curved swords both called Dawncutter and will often duel wield in combat but when necessary he will revert to one when using his magic which can be quite potent in the Underdark.
