David Arcbenn

David is a smart young man with a bright future!

At least, that's what his parents were told when the boy was young in school. And his parents believed it. The boy didn't let his parents down, and he studied hard, learned well, and made stellar grades. He did everything he could, and by most standards... he was a model son. A good, obedient kid who loved his parents and loved his friends.

But good times didn't last for everyone. His father was killed in a car accident and his mother fell ill. David was fifteen at the time, just old enough to work where he lived. So he began to do just that and dropped out of high school, to later get a GED. He had to work to support his mother. But... he couldn't save her. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong in time to save her. And she didn't make it.

Not long after that, the house he lived in all his life was collected by the bank as collateral since he couldn't finish paying off the remaining debts his parents had lingering from their college days. So now he was alone, homeless, and angry at society. He was fortunately able to get a cheap apartment near a junk heap and keep his job working as a mechanic at a nearby car shop.

It wasn't until he was around 16 that he started to put things together. Literally. Spare parts from the shop, parts from the junkyard, all sorts of things. It started with small machines. Then appliances. Then computers. And eventually... exoskeletons. Somewhere down the line he had realized that... society wasn't right anymore. The rich got richer and the poor got poorer. The poor and undefended got preyed upon, and the rich and ill-meaning got wealthy and lived lavishly. He lived next to a dump. Literally a dump. For scrap.

And thus, Headhunter was born. Given the moniker as he always seemed to go for the kill... going for the head. A vigilante known for using an exoskeleton and firearms and surprise attacks to take out targets of his choosing. Many were wealthy individuals, but he always left damning information of the victims at the scene which, after investigations, led to the news that all of Headhunter's targets were involved in illegal activities, or were outright malicious people. His hits were few and far between... but he always popped up out of nowhere and fled just as quickly each time. Clearly, Headhunter had no intentions of being caught.

This was David's life now. A massive cleanup operation against the evil people of society. He would make heads roll for their own sins... and maybe, just maybe... the world would become a better place eventually.
