Mortal Coil-few have worked with the arcana of death and fate as long as Charlotte has. These years of experience grant her a +1 to Death and Fate spells.

Grief-Charlotte was always strange, has been ever since her Awakening, yet the loss of her husband some years ago has added a new aspect to her distant nature. -1 to Charisma.

It's truly fascinating what can happen in the span of a moment. A life can be born. And one can also end. Or very nearly end, as was the case for thirteen-year-old Charlotte Weir. A moment of sharp, crashing pain, and then darkness. When her eyes opened in hospital room, she found herself surrounded by unfamiliar faces that most certainly were not hospital staff. No one saw nor heard them but Charlotte, and her confused questions were dismissed as the ramblings of a patient recovering from anesthesia and under the influence of painkillers. The young girl would later learn that what she had seen were ghosts, her sudden ability to see their presence the apparent result of her brush with death. A slumbering Awakening as it were. From that point on, the girl known as Charlotte Weir was never quite the same. Her eyes always bore a haunted look, as if they saw too much and she could often be seen seeming to speak to herself through the rest of her schooling years. In actuality, she was a mage of the Moros of the Leaden Coin, and she had quickly shown a knack for studying and corraling the spirits of the dead.

With time and patience, Charlotte, or Orphea as she has been called since her entrance into mage society, has reached the pinnacle of success sought by every mage in their lifetime; the rank of Archmage. While often considered an elusive hermit, Archmage Sybil never hesitates to answer the call when she is needed. However, it is a known fact that should one require the skills of an archmage in the arcanums of death and fate, you have likely found yourself stuck in a situation that can only be described as beyond well and truly fucked. Nonetheless, her name is spoken with equal parts respect and fear. Despite her power and position, she maintains the ability to fade into the background, unperturbed and unbothered, left alone to conduct her work as a Stone Scribe and wear the names of the dead as easily as a second skin. Sybil can best be described as a powerful enigma, and many find the task of chipping away at her secrets as foreboding as it is tempting.
