Appearance
Alex Lockridge has messy, above shoulder length hair that had a bit of layering to it, making it look at-least somewhat styled. Most times it was pretty disheveled looking, like he hadn't brushed it in a few days at most. It was a dark- almost black colour with a few natural chestnuts highlights throughout his hair, but you'd have to look hard to find them. These locks are naturally wavy, and tend to curl up slightly at the ends.
Alex has a diamond shaped face, as well as a sharp jawline, but softer looking cheekbones. To accommodate such features, he had a bit of a large and crooked nose, yet it somehow still fit his face well. He was quite lanky, standing at 6'3, often towering over other people by a big amount. A little underweight, yes, but the clothes he wore often hid this secret of his. Alex had almond shaped eyes, which were coloured a light hazel, though sometimes it just looked like a plain brown color. His teeth were a.. near perfect shade of white. Near the back, some yellow could be seen because of his smoking habit that he had picked up from stress. Occasionally a cavity or two. In his early-teen years, he did have braces to fix the unaligned and fairly crooked bits.
At his height, he was fairly athletic and a very good runner, some leg muscle could be seen, and some on his arms from his constant guitar playing.

His clothing style was relaxed, the definition of casual. A lot of the time you'll see him in denim jeans and some sort of graphic t-shirt, or a band one. He does enjoy coats, and long jackets. He also likes leather things. Occasionally for his job working as a bartender, or fancy outings. He will sport a flowy, white button up shirt with black pants. His shoes are often black/brown dress shoes or vans.
Alex wears a ring on his left hand that was a gift from his mother, and really never takes it off. He wears a silver chain pretty much always.
He has no piercings or tattoos currently, but has thought about it before.

History
Alexander Fletcher Lockridge was born on March 23rd, to parents Edith Cauldwell and Scott Lockridge. For the first fourteen years of his life, Alex resided in Merseyside, a metropolitan county in North West England. Everything up until that point seemed relatively normal, other than the occasional.. fighting that could be heard, Alex had little too nothing to worry about. Though growing up, It was just him, as he had no other known siblings, but he wouldn't be surprised if there was another one out there.
Unknowingly to Alex, his father was not the best person that Alex thought he was. Emotionally and Verbally abusive, Edith fled in the middle of the night without taking her son, but only leaving a note of where she'd be staying that way Alex could find her later in life. Alex had only gotten a very quick glance at the numbers before his father found him, tore the note to shreds and disposed of it as if it never existed. The only numbers he could remember were 287. Alex supposed that it was an address of sorts, but guilt racked him for a long time, as he could never be sure if he'd see the only person that had shielded him ever again.
After that, it wasn't long before Alex was forced to take his things and move to America with his dad, as his father couldn't risk his son finding his mother. At the age of 14, he now resided in Easthaven Bay, Oregon. During this time, he picked up a passion for literature and instruments, using those two tools to survive through the constant chaos that Scott had put him through. Overtime, this chaos slowly faded into that one bad day out of the week when his father to drink.. and drink hard. To distract himself, he picked up a bad habit of smoking cigarettes, but over time he only smoked when he was stressed out of his head. At the age of 16, he had dabbled in alcohol and weed, but was a relatively clean kid as his true passion was literature.
When he wasn't working at the bar even though he was underage, he was playing music in a small band with his friends. It only taught him to never depend on others and only depend on himself. It was something that would probably hurt him in the future, but he could care less. Something good that did shake his world was getting into a band with his friends, and since then has been depending on this band to keep him stable.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree of english literature. Ever since then, if he wasn't in his band, he was enjoying his time bartending and having some time to himself in the small town. Yet when his father eventually passed from his drinking problem, he began searching for clues about his mother whereabouts.

Personality
Alex has a bit of a carefree personality. He prefers to not think and enjoy the moment instead of worrying about the consequences. When he's not being chaotic as hell, he can actually be super helpful when it comes to anything but science. Born an Aries, he can be a bit hot headed sometimes but prefers to not be aggressive or loud about it, as it is a bit of a trigger for him. A bit of a natural leader, he can be a good decision maker but most of the time he is a bit indecisive.
Though his height and looks may seem a bit intimidating, he is a bit of a sweetheart.. not to mention quite a flirt. If he someone he cares about or even loves having something done bad to them, he will drop as much as he can to help them even if he is risking his own health. As much as he hates physical violence and aggression, he won't be the bystander regretting in the feature, knowing they could have done something. It may bring his mood down for awhile though.
He enjoys books and collecting records, old-timey things that most wouldn't give more than a glance at. A bit of a nutcase when it comes to British rock and indie music, he prefers to stray away from over-produced pop music.
