Palla/ Pale Palla

  • Appearance

    Palla doesn’t have many outstanding features other than her short crimson red hair.
    She wears a gold and red martial arts gi much like many of her students and allies, though she wears an altered version of the gi that repairs itself when damaged.

  • History

    Palla was a human woman born and raised on a planet called Erna, or Earth.
    She was raised by her family to be a farmer and to never become a warrior, but that changed when she was forced to defend herself against a group of bandits.

    Feeling shameful for breaking her family’s rule, she said her goodbyes and left in search for a more fitting life for herself.
    She’d eventually find it in the form of the then-martial arts master Ori, who took her in as his protégé and after years of training her he officially retired his status and allowed Palla to take his title and place as the new master of martial arts. Though this didn’t mean she was safe from those who wanted the title, but she did use the little influence she gained to form her own school of fighters.

    One day, while meditating on top of the mountains, she witnesses a space craft crashing down and landing in the forest down below. Palla quickly chased after it and was the first to come into contact with Charroki and Tvom’Toh, the former of which was bleeding and dying while the later soon collapsed unconscious to the ground.
    Palla took them to her temple where they were healed, patched up and given a room to stay in. Tvom’Toh and Charroki decided to stay for a while longer and help Palla around and become her newest students and her best warriors

  • Death…

    After fighting alongside Tvom’Toh, Schow and Charroki for years, she and the group would encounter the lost Synge prince Alhust and unfortunately, Palla was killed.
    While she was avenged and was planned to be brought back, a group of entity-like beings reset the afterlife and destroyed every soul in it, Including Palla’s. So she was gone with no way to wish her back to life…

    • Occupation: Trader (formerly), Martial Arts teacher (formerly), Defender, Demon Hunter

  • Pale Life

    Hailing from an alternate universe where all her allies and family were killed, Palla attempted to return her husband back to life by selling her soul to the caretaker. Unfortunately, her husband died immediately after and leaving her without a soul to feel her loss.

    “Pale” Palla was soon discovered by the Crystal Lord Klar, (alternate) King Almust, Solarnoon, and Hu’Ro the god of the End. They offered her a chance to join them and restore her universe to before all the death.
    Palla accepted but later learned she was being used for her skill and strength and after merging with what remained of the original Palla’s soul, she fought back with her new and familiar allies. She would be fatally wounded by King Almust but saved by the fox demon, Shira.

    Palla travelled with her new family and is now living a happy life… or so she thought. Turns out, having two different souls inside of her messes with her mind. While her older self managed to help her regain her emotions and her memories, she also experienced contradictory memories that she will never experience herself. And having a demonic soul didn’t help either, whether they were benevolent or not. So now Pale Palla tries to understand herself and where she fits into this new life, to accept her new souls but also not to be shackled by either one trying to gain control over her body.

  • Demonic and natural power

    Hellfire- while being possessed, Palla can produce and control a blue variant of hellfire. Hellfire is able to burn away most substances and even a foes’ very soul. Although, Palla is incapable of using the full power of her flames as, since she isn’t a perfect host, there is a chance for the hellfire to burn her to ash if she uses it too intensely.

    Potential strength mimicry- Palla is capable of mimicking the power and strength of the foe she fights, often giving Palla the advantage with her greater level of skill. This power can’t be used against foes who are divine, dead or demonic.

    Ki control- through her training and teachings, Palla can use and weaponise her own life force to enhance her abilities, create energy attacks and even transfer some energy to her allies to heal them.

    Staff of GonGoe- made and carved from an ancient mystical tree known as a Forretti Tree, Palla’s staff is capable of extending and shrinking to any size the user wants. The staff also helps store more ki for Palla to use.

    Souless- with the souls of old Palla and Shira, she’s been able to manipulate both hellfire and ki with little effort. However, while she has the soul of an older version of herself, Pale Palla is conflicted with what she is meant to know and what she has experienced. Not to mention sharing her body with a demon. Both sides are able to speak to Pale Palla and give her advice but, if she were to will it, she can outright ignore them and temporarily become Soulless. She is unable to use her ki or hellfire but she can create an area of effect that can also disable the ki and hellfire based abilities of her foes and allies.
