Once upon a time, two fairies crossed a barrier from Earriapia, an ancient fairy realm. A realm of magic and light, where fae lived peacefully, comfortably. The reason why they left remains unclear, wether they were banned, or simply left together. These two fairies made a good life in the human world, though adjusting to living as full sized humans, and without using their powers was a challenge. They would settle down, and begin careers of high ranking stature. A rare occurrence happened then. A fairy child was born in the human world.
From the time she could walk, Amelia Carol Grace was thrust onto the fast track to stardom. At four, she landed a long time reoccurring role on TV, and that was followed by more TV roles, movie roles, interviews, parties and everything else that came under the sun. In this time, in secret, her parents caught her to control her powers, as she accidentally kept putting the crew members to sleep, and trying to cover the slowly forming tattoo that would one day be her wings.
For a time, she was everything and everywhere. And for a long time, she enjoyed it. The fame, the fortune, and to a degree, even the attention, although especially the work. She wanted to be in as many times as possible, as many roles as she could take on. She had her first kiss on screen, during her teens in her longest running series, and although the public went insane for the chemistry between the teenagers, nothing real had ever, and she feared, would ever form, no matter how the public may have pushed.
With teenage hood and the changing of her body, the roles and the direction of her character became more sexualized, as was the comments in the media. She went from the darling child that had an audience eating out of the palm of her hand to the ‘too skinny’ then immediately ‘too fat’ girl. This upset her, which is when she felt a true fairy’s rage, and with that rage, came the true forming of her powers. The real slap in the face came later when she found out her friend was selling her insecurities to the media. She had filmed a love scene, and had a lot of anxiety around it, and instead of being a friend, instead, those words were sold and twisted into a huge story that wasn’t at all true. It started started a huge fight between Amelia and her ‘friend’, all of which was very public.
More problems began to arise when the angry star began to lash out at the paparazzi. She never hurt them physically, besides one or two taking long naps, but she refused to take their questions or let them hound and bully her. This turned into an entire downward spiral for her, and her parents, who were stars themselves, did not help. She made the decision that when her last TV role ended, so would her career.
The series she worked on, a series called The Secretive Six in which she was cast as the lead role, eventually came to a close, after years of run-time and work, and the star made the decision to stop. She had everything and more, but was edging into a place that she didn’t like herself anymore. Before the award show, she packed her things, and moved as far from Hollywood as she could possibly go. She has no need to work for the monetary aspect, but she chooses to keep a job to keep from giving into her base urges of a fairy’s mischief.
