Barbara Hart

Barbara grew up in an affluent household whose allegiance had been pledged to the newly formed Funk Mafia to protect their elite status. For a very long while into her upbringing, Barbara was told to be a quiet, obedient little Mafia lamb. When her Vibe manifested, the real training began. And then never stopped. She smiled through it all, bigger and brighter still, concentrating every awful thought and impulse into tiny boxes and packing them up deep down, where they festered. This transitional period in Barbara's life as she wrestled with her monstrous psyche was inevitably mishandled by everyone involved.

Just as planned, the Hart's offered up their daughter to the Funk Mafia before she'd even blown out all 18 candles on her birthday cake. It's been a year of working to actually earn her place in the FM and a rough go for Barbara so far, mostly due to the bonkers set of moral standards she brought with her. No one is actually seeing this struggle, of course, because that porcelain façade is about an inch thick and isn't she just a delight to have around the place?
