Joelle cackled, brows rising when the man suggested she feed from him, "You sir, are hella brave. Are you not afraid of being infected?" Her arms crossed over her chest as she gazed up at him, her small stature almost laughable in comparison to his own tank-like build. Curious orbs took in every inch of his face even though she'd known him forever now, it was as if she was seeing him for the first time. Funny, how insanity can change the way someone felt. Like breathing oxygen and new life into a nearly smoldering flame, her eyes lit with interest at the deadly offer he'd made. "Charlie Wilson, you're a madman," she purred sweetly, spitefully, knowing good and well she had her friend wrapped around her pinky finger.

Charlie scoffed, a playful glint in his eyes when she'd called him brave. "Or 'hella' stupid," he grinned, shaking his head at the latter question, "Nah, figured you woulda instantly shut it down if you thought it would infect me. You can control that.. right?" He wasn't itching to be a vampire or undead anytime soon. Seemed like a pain in the ass to constantly need a blood source, but Jojo usually handled herself well enough. Until now. He'd usually help her sneak a few packs from the clinic after hours, his moral compass telling him that he was doing it to save lives since the other option was feeding from humans or nearby animals. He leaned down a bit closer, hazel locking with deep blue, another smile tugging at his lips when she had called him a madman. "So I'm told," he murmured, his smoky voice dropping a few octaves in response to her tone. He tilted his head to the right, granting the femme more access to his neck. "Offer expires in five seconds," he mused playfully, "Five... Four..."

Joelle snorted, covering her mouth to try and keep from laughing harder. "Yes, or that," she agreed with a grin of her own, "Most smart people don't offer to be a blood donor for vampires." His trust in her was astounding, and she swallowed thickly to force down any stray emotions trying to form in response. "I can, yes.. There's a uh.. 'process' to turning someone. It's more complicated than just drinking your blood," she confirmed his assumption. Her jaw tightened when he leaned down, her cheeks threatening to flare at the tone he'd taken himself. Damn... "Charlie-" her words caught in her throat when he tilted his head and gave her a timer. The height difference was still daunting despite that lean, so for good measure she hopped up onto her tippy toes, catching the collar of his shirt to pull it sideways so that she could sink her fangs into his shoulder. It wouldn't be good to bite his neck where everyone and their mom could see it. The vamp groaned softly when warm blood hit her tongue, chills sliding down her arms as she realized Charlie's blood tasted good.

He rolled his eyes when she snorted, squishing his nose up at her when she covered her mouth. He chuckled softly when she'd agreed with him, "Nope, they don't." Process? Called it. He nodded, "I figured as much." Whatever she had started to say cut off fast, and he would have laughed again had she not just winded him when her fangs hit his shoulder. The piercing of flesh earned a wince over his features, brows furrowing as he clenched his jaw to keep from making any sounds of his own. Her little groan caused his heart to speed up, adrenaline flooding his veins as his brain caught up and processed what was happening. "Is it.. helping...?" he murmured after a few moments, starting to feel lightheaded, "Gettin' kinda swimmy, just a heads up."

Gods the boy was something else. She could hear his heart take off like a rocket to the moon, could taste the subtlest change to his blood when adrenaline spiked. Perhaps he was getting more than he bargained for? It was hard to say. Joelle paused when his voice hit her ears again. "It is," she confirmed, sliding her tongue over the puncture marks so that her saliva could help with clotting when he said he was getting 'swimmy'. "Alright, I'll stop," she told him gently, pulling away from the open wound and dropping down from her tiptoes, "Let's get this bandaged. It should stop bleeding soon." Her hand didn't let go of his collar, just in case he wanted to hold it with his own, so his shirt didn't get all bloody. "Hold your shirt out of the way for me?" she requested; in case he hadn't read her mind.

Yeahh, he was getting way more than he bargained for, but he'd live. It wasn't a bad thing, just not what he'd expected. Frankly, he wasn't quite sure what he expected. Maybe he didn't expect it to hurt at all, or maybe he forgot about the dizziness that was inevitable. Or, maybe, he didn't expect that he'd enjoy it a little too much. "Fffff," he bit back a curse when her tongue slid over the wound she'd created, canines digging into his bottom lip before he shot her a loaded gaze. Why did he have the faintest notion to tell her he didn't want her to stop? Well, they'd already established that he was a madman, so he refrained from voicing that fleeting thought out loud and further confirming his insanity. "Yeah, I got it," his voice had gotten smokier, a roughness catching the edges of his words and fraying them like a figurative dagger. His fingers hooked beneath the collar so that she could release it. Charlie was unsure what to say, so many things flooding his mind at once as he moved to take a seat on her couch so that he was less likely to fall over. "Wasn't so bad," he finally laughed, hazel sparkling playfully.

Joelle's breath hitched when he nearly cursed, that gaze sending ghostly shivers clawing down her spine. She wasn't about to apologize, because she wasn't even sorry. The look on his face also hinted that he didn't hate it. Her eyes flicked to his lip he'd bitten the hell out of and swallowed harshly as she considered what it'd feel like to do it herself. She quickly snapped her attention back to that hazel gaze and shoved away those heated images in her skull. Mmf. His voice should be a sin, too. Charlie was like forbidden fruit, and she'd promised herself awhile back that she wouldn't let herself get sucked in too deep. Just a friend, that's what he needed to stay, because she would go completely bonkers if anything ever happened to the goofball; especially if it was because of her. She had gathered bandages and crossed the room, her breath threatening to hitch again when he'd gave her that playful look. "Madman," she smirked in amusement, pressing a square piece of gauze over the puncture wounds. "Hold this here with your other hand so I can tape it down," she instructed, carefully tearing pieces of medical tape and doing just that if he cooperated. "It might bruise, and if it does, I'm sorry. I tried not to bite you too hard," she rambled softly, focusing far too heavily on her motions so that she didn't feel tempted to sneak glances at him.

Charlie wasn't expecting an apology and didn't need one. He definitely didn't hate it and smacked himself mentally for wishing she'd do it again, multiple times, even. "Tch..." he breathed sharply when he noticed the way her gaze slid to his lip briefly, but how quickly it had in turn, bolted away soon after. "Whatever thought just crossed your pretty little mind..." he murmured, "It was dangerous." A warning. He said it out loud as a reminder meant for himself just as much as it was for her. 'Forbidden fruit' was right. She wasn't the only one that had drawn hard lines in the sand, boundaries that would be stupid to cross for a multitude of reasons... And yet, she wasn't the only one teetering with curiosity, brimming at the edges with a strange sudden interest thrown from left field. He flashed another grin when she repeated her earlier comment, doing as she asked and holding the gauze in place. It might bruise? "Ah well," he shrugged his right shoulder nonchalantly, "I'm not scared of bruises, Jojo, you know that." He was never the type to be 'careful', and by now she'd likely gotten to know him well enough to have figured that out. He paused, hesitation clear on his words when he finally spoke again, "Maybe... I wouldn't have even minded it harder." His hazel gaze had been watching her, watching the way she overfocused on the task at hand. "Joelle, look at me," his smoky voice nearly mirrored smooth velvet, "You didn't hurt me. It stung a little, yeah, but I'd gladly let you do it again as many times as you want." That warning replayed in his head again, a realization that this conversation was still flirting with an incredibly dangerous notion. Just. Friends. They were just friends.
