Jenny Johnson was born in the early 20th century in the city of New York. Her parents were wealthy socialites who spent most of their time attending parties and events. Daphne grew up in this lavish lifestyle, but despite her privileged upbringing, she always felt like something was missing. She had a thirst for adventure and excitement that could not be satisfied by the high society events her parents attended. As a young adult, Jenny wanted to explore the darker side of life, frequenting speakeasies and underground clubs. It was in one of these clubs that she met a man named Xavier, who introduced her to the world of vampires. Xavier was charming and alluring, and Jenny was immediately drawn to him. He taught her everything she needed to know about the Kindred and introduced her to his clan, the Toreador.

Jenny was mesmerized by the Toreador's lifestyle. They were artists, musicians, and actors who used their supernatural abilities to enhance their craft. Daphne quickly became a part of the clan and was embraced as one of their own.

As a Toreador, Jenny flourished. She honed her skills as an artist and performer and became a well-respected member of the clan. She traveled the world, performing in some of the most prestigious venues and rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. But even as she basked in the glamour and excitement of the Kindred world, she knew that danger lurked around every corner. The Masquerade, the strict set of rules that governed the Kindred's existence, was always a looming threat. One misstep could mean the end of everything she had built. Daphne was always careful, but even the most cautious Kindred could find themselves in trouble.

It was during one of her travels that Daphne found herself in Los Angeles. The city was a hotbed of Kindred politics, and tensions were high. Daphne tried to stay out of the drama, but she found herself caught up in a web of intrigue and deception. She quickly realized that she was in over her head and that her life was in danger. Jenny knew she had to leave the city, but she couldn't do it alone. She reached out to Xavier, hoping he could help her. But when he arrived, he was different. He was colder, more calculating. Jenny didn't recognize the man she had once loved.

Xavier told her that he was no longer part of the Toreador and that he had joined a new clan, one that valued power above all else. He offered to take Nenny with him, promising her safety and security, but Daphne knew that he had changed too much. She refused his offer and fled the city on her own, changing her name and moving to Santa Moncia.

Daphne has been on the run ever since. She knows that she can never go back to her old life, and she is constantly looking over her shoulder, afraid that she will be caught by the Kindred who want to punish her for breaking the Masquerade. But even as she hides in the shadows, Daphne can't help but feel a sense of freedom. She is no longer trapped by the rules and expectations of her old life. She is a Kindred, a predator, and she will do whatever it takes to survive.

Since then, she had been getting by via her work, friends, and clubbing.

Daphne had a complex personality that was shaped by her experiences as a vampire. While she was still kind and gentle at heart, she was also haunted by a constant sense of paranoia. She was always looking over her shoulder, wary of the others who might be watching her every move. This paranoia was not unfounded, as DD had been the victim of numerous attacks by other Ventrue vampires in the past. These experiences had left her with a deep-seated hatred of the Ventrue, and she was always on guard against any potential threats.

She had embraced her natural vampirism, and hadn't felt much guilt towards feeding as she used too.
