Appearance:
Standing at six foot even, he’s a man carved from grit and discipline, with broad shoulders, thick arms, and a torso sculpted into lean muscle from years of physical demand. His skin carries the bronze kiss of the sun, a warm tone that highlights the sharp cuts of his chest and abs. A sweeping black tattoo dominates one side of his chest and shoulder, its design precise, ancient, and deliberate, 
etched like a secret you have to earn. More ink crawls across his biceps and ribs, each piece etched with purpose, not vanity. His jaw is strong and angular, perpetually shadowed by stubble that suits his rugged demeanor. Thick, dark hair is kept short, styled with just enough care to show he’s aware, but never trying too hard. His eyes are a liquid gold tangled with shards of green, always shifting, always sharp. They hold his thoughts like a vault, locked tight and impenetrable. A few faint scars cut across his body, one at his side, another near his collarbone, quiet reminders of violence survived, not flaunted. He walks with a measured, confident gait, like a man who’s broken bones and bled for things, and would do it again without hesitation. Everything about him says control, precision, and power.
Personality:
First and foremost, Matteo is a wallflower. He watches and learns as he builds strategies in his head. He is calculating and cool headed. Many call him arrogant, but is it arrogance when you're just that good? He isn't loud or attention seeking. It serves his purpose to be almost forgettable except when he's needed.
On the flip side of the coin, Matteo has to be likable. His whole empire relies on people liking him until they have reason to either fear him or owe him. But people aren't likely to do favors for people they don't like, until they mess up and need someone to clean it up.

In his previous life in Chicago Matteo had girlfriends, but his schedule was usually so hectic they never stuck around long - it's hard to be in a relationship with someone who barely shows up.
