Chanon Fischer

Chanon had a normal life from the time he was born, until around the age of 13, when he saw something, he’d never forget. He witnessed a vampire killing their victim. There was blood everywhere, it was unlike anything he’d seen before. He would have lost his lunch had it not been for the fact that the piercing blue eyes of the vampire shifted from his meal to him. Chanon felt the fear course through his body and for a moment he didn’t find the strength to move.

The vampire was quick to make its way towards him. Right when it was about to sink its teeth in to him, Chanon managed to dodge out of the way. The vampire was surprised and continued to press its attack, but Chanon was able to dodge each one. It was starting to get annoyed and slamming its claws into the buildings around them. It wasn’t until Chanon tripped over himself that the vampire had him in its clutches. That’s when his uncle showed up and put a crossbow bolt in its head. The vampire’s body fell on top of Chanon and his uncle stabbed a stake into its heart, its body shifting to dust.

With that experience Chanon was brought into the monsterhunting and supernatural world. He learned that his family had ties to the Van Helsing family, and that his family used to be monster hunters. He brought this knowledge with him now as he went through high school and made it his goal to be a reporter. That way he could get into the more vicious crime scenes under the guise of being there for a story. It would also help him keep up with checks and allow him to travel the world.

Chanon has managed to make a number of friends throughout high school and even in college. There’s Aiden, a fellow reporter who knows of Chanon’s heritage and Elijah, a fellow monster hunter in the area. Then there’s the more monstrous friends he’s made, Isabella and Harper. Isabella is a vampire who hates human blood and Harper who’s a werewolf. With these couple of friends he’s managed to survive through many encounters with other monsters and beings.

In the years between his first encounter with monsters and today, he managed to learn a lot. He’s an excellent mixed martial artist, and able to find his way out of any problem, but his curiosity often gets him into more. Chanon is always looking to help people, even monsters and has met a number of friends along the way.

With that being said he has a lot of friends who’d like to see him grow, along with rivals that would do anything to hunt him down and kill him.
