    SCALES
    Often smooth and more of a oval shape.
    The scales are a dark reflective black, good for hiding in the dark depths.
    Smooth and slick to easily slip past rocks while providing armor.

    Some scales though are really long, like a set of ribs.
    These scales are propel scales which help the Vophine swim more accurately

    TAIL FIN DESIGN
    A Vophines tail is translucent with electric blue highlights that pulse with the energy gathered from storms.
    A Vophines tail can be very large, helping them not only swim but lure prey and attract mates.
    The tail acting much like a peacocks, mostly fanning out to attract attention.

    Sharp and a white bone in color.
    Vophine teeth are made to snag fish and flesh,
    capable of taring it easily from bone.

    Long, thick and blue, it glows and glitters.
    Because Vophines are predatory, they have kept
    their predatory tongue where the bulbus bit looks like
    prey in the deep dark waters, luring easy fish right to their maws.

  • TALE OF THE STORM CALLER
    As those would make up stories, it's said that if you were to ever sink to the dark bellow.
    You maybe lucky enough to be unlucky to fall before a Storm Caller, who will then find you so curious that they drag you deeper.
    Bringing those that have sinned on the sea to hell.
    But this is not true, just a tale.

    SOCIALLY
    Vophines are actually very social, they are pack hunters, and if there is one Vophine then there is more.
    Usually though, they choose a leader to course their pack through the dark waters bellow.
    And, this leader will be the first to descend to the surface to make sure it is clear for the pack to join them.
    They love gathering up when it rains, and storms.

    SEX & GENDER
    Vophines have both sexual reproductive organs.
    Because of this, there really isn't a difference between any of them aside from personalities.
    Where, one might be more submissive and nurturing then another, which maybe more aggressive and timid.

    Vophines have a hidden slit just bellow the their hips.
    When aroused this slit starts to gap, and allow a clear and THICK secretion to fall from it.
    Inside is a Collective, the purpose of the collective is to stimulate and collect sperm.
    Where then the collective will start to expand inside and house the eggs.
    Yes Vophine are egg layers.

    VOPHINE EGG CASE
    When Vophines give birth they collect their eggs and place them within a casing that will soften and break apart the deeper
    it falls into the abyssal level of the ocean. Leaving nothing but just the eggs.
    Eventually after years have passed, only a few hatchlings will actually surface from the harsh environment bellow to finally take on the next stage of their life with the pack.
