  • Repairman by day, and anonymous DJ by night, Dwight is a nerd with an island-shaped chip on his shoulder. He really, really would like to leave the island someday. The fact that he's been hiding his parents were scientists, --and that he was once his dad's assistant in his late teens-- and that a Robot who thinks he is him occasionally barges into his home only turned him into a reclusive, disillusioned misanthrope.

    Dwight balances his life between repairing electronics and keeping a low profile with his DJ persona, Catastrophe, unfortunately nicknamed as DJ Meow Meow by a clubgoer in the mid- X090's. He's doing his best with living his life, which has been upturned when Roller Banditos came to knock on his door looking for a Robot who also goes by Dwight E. Faraday.

    He resents deeply the Scientists and the Island itself, and he also would very much like to leave, thank you very much.

    Quiet and reclusive, Dwight can come off almost as soft-spoken, if it were not for his badly-repressed mean streak that manifests as a sharp tongue. Despite his best efforts he feels things very frequently and very intensely, and if it weren't for his outlet/double life as an anonymous DJ in a cat mascot costume he would be much more like a shaken soda bottle than he is now.

    He loves Vibing a lot more than he's willing to let on.

    Unmasked, he has performance anxiety bad enough that it unwittingly limited his Vibe, but as DJ Meow Meow Dwight is much more relaxed, outgoing, and bold.

    Dwight has a nervous tic, where he clenches and unclenches his hands repeatedly in an attempt to keep himself from doing anything too impulsive. It doesn't always work. He also has a tendency to snap his fingers to a beat whenever he's bored.

  • DJ Catastrophe, aka DJ Meow Meow, is the persona Dwight moonlights as to play music across the nightclubs willing to hire him for gigs, as well as in the abandoned warehouses of the Research District. While he prefers Electronica for his gigs, he doesn't stick to one particular genre, and as a freelancer he will more often than not just do whatever genre his patrons prefer.
    (He tried going by as DJ Catastrophe, but the nickname DJ Meow Meow stuck, so he embraced it.)

    While DJing is the bulk of his work, he occasionally makes impromptu little concerts where it's just him and a piano keyboard, trying out different styles. He calls those the "Take it Or Leave It" shows, he picks abandoned venues and steals the power off neighbors, and usually last an hour or two, or until too many people to his liking show up. He also streams with synthethizers that he refurbishes and with electronics and bot parts that he recycles into musical instruments. He offsets any potential Mad Scientist vibes with absurdity and whimsy.

    Whenever he wears the cat mask Dwight is a lot more confident and outgoing, the anonymity (and the drinks, and the fonk, and the partying, and the unbridled Vibing and hedonism that he usually keeps to himself) making him a lot more bold.
