Clyve has mastered many arts, mostly those used to entertain and enrich (himself).

Clyve is something of a musical prodigy, he has a powerful voice, well trained and practised. His skill with instruments is also impressive, there is hardly a thing that makes noise that he can not make sing.

He is a fine puppeteer and can throw his voice quite well, though his puppet shows have been critcized for being extremely immature and relying almost totally on slapstick. Children seem to love them.

His alchemists craft is superb, he's been awarded the rank of Third Degree Alchemist, only two degrees away from the highest attainable rank. Foremost amongst his alchemical skills is his near savant level ability to create all manner of poisons and acids.

His balance and acrobatics are nearly peerless among mundane humans, though perhaps not as impressive in the realms of the supernatural. His ability to "flex" his bones also lend him a preternatural aptitude as a contortionist.

Clyve has a potent throwing arm and sense of aiming. Mostly he uses these skills to hurl darts and the knives he always keeps hidden on his person. But he can also hold his own in any backalley knife fight, though he is loathe to resort to outright violence and even less keen to kill. Most often he would prefer to flee, or even take his lumps if he can be reasonably sure he can heal from the wounds he may take.

Thieving Tools

Caltrops: A fine tool meant to slow persuers. Clyve's are usually also coated with potent acids and sometimes even set aflame the poor sap who might step on them.

Grappling Hooks: A must for those who often scale sheer walls or towers, Clyve's is as elaborate as his manner of dress, bearing all sorts of rodent themed ornamentation.

Pitons: When a grappling hook alone won't suffice these handy tools can be used with a hammer to make more handholds for the scurrying burglar.

Traps and Snares: Clyve favors the use of snares with alchemical ingredients used to make them very difficult to remove. The traps he might use are usually defensive in nature, like a vial of Alchemists fire that breaks when a chest full of illicit materials is disturbed.

Blowgun: This metal pipe works a treat to send a venomed dart into the neck of a guardsman. Usually this would be a sleeping powder rather than anything lethal.

Buisness Dealings

Clyve's primary trade is in perfumes and cosmetic items created by alchemy. He sells everything from creams that make the skin glitter to perfumes that are exactly configured to the customer's desire.

He also makes lucrative trade in selling wines and high end foodstuffs. Particularly cheese, which he obviously loves as man with a rat-based curse.

Clyve is sometimes known to be a broker of secrets and information. Provided he can produce premium cheese the local rats often make incredible spies. On occasion he has even been hired as a sort of private investigator, which isn't fair since the rats do most of the work.
