Lizbeth Redwood

Lizbeth hasn't always had that beautiful life she can live now, protected and safe.
Her parents were shot by human hunters, Angel fell right next to her, her last word being ‘stardust’. She doesn’t know what happened to Maxwell. She tried to hide between the roots of a big old tree, underneath a dense bush. A farmer and his kids picked her up, they promised her a better life. She made friend with a dog named Milo, un unusual friendship between a doe and a dog (prey and predator). Being a guest at that ranch were more than two years of unconcern, but Lizbeth as a doe became mature, a matureness that can’t be handled by the farmer and his kids. To the despite of all, that doe had to find a better place to live, adapted to her as deer. The place found for Lizbeth seemed adequate, but it was all wrong. First they broke this adult deers will, technology and brute force made that doe submissive, she became some sexual object, if it were for animals or lustful humans. First she didn’t understand and somehow accepted her faith.
Until she got tranformed…
They gave her this anthro-deer look through some magic, to have 'more fun'. But a new rebellish feeling rose inside her, with that, other options opened to her, one option being death.

But they were so brutal to her, they destroyed her inners, she can't ever get a fawn of her own. Her abductors had mutilated and tormented her so much, only pain was left.
One day, one moment and a small shimmer of hope fills the doe, a chance to escape, the one and only chance to get out of the horror. As a cervine, Lizbeth managed to run away with a majestic jump over the entrance door and ran as fast as possible away, straying for days and nights to land in this peaceful forest, where she hid for a long period, slimmed down taking no care of herself.
The scars aren't visible under her fur, but they stay in her mind. She only got out of her hiding place, an old abandoned shed, to nourish herself from time to time. She looked pitiful, not taken care of, her fur dirty and sticky, until she met this terrible friendly horse, as she ran into him, scared by something. This horse was, just like her, passing a difficult time, but their mutual kindness cheered both up. Lizbeth was able, after a long time, to trust again in somebody else, and Max could find himself again in interacting with someone without anger. They both changed that abandoned shed into Lizbeth' place.
Lizbeth lives and stays in the forest she loves, the only place where she feels safe again.
Lizbeth's hut is a small wooden tiny house, only one room, no kitchen, no bathroom, no running water. There is a fireplace with a cooking pot and a kettle, beside is a cupboard with her personal belongings a table with two stools. Some mouton and blankets make it feel comfortable at the fireplace. Her bed is in one corner, blanket and cushions neatly made up as everything in her place. On the table is a decanter and a wooden dish with fruits. Everything in her place was given to her, this decanter for example, she got it from an herbalist in town for whom she goes pick up specific herbs in the forest. Max gave her those linen clothes for decency purposes.
This hut protects her from bad weather and cold. Outside is the small open place, where the sun comes through between the trees, on one side is a garden where she cultivates vegetables and some bushes with berries, on the other hand stands a bathtub, where she either collects rainwater or allows herself a bubble bath from time to time. A bench and a few yards of lawn complete the scenery. It's not that big comfortable place, with all commodities, but it's Lizbeth little 'Eden', as she calls it. The place is all around closed to view with either fruit bushes or some thorny hedges that are quite painful to pass through, her hut leans against a big rock giving her shade and shelter from above. Lizbeth gets her water from the crystal clear lake, where you can find her swim very often.

Lizbeth is born as a feral doe, a little white spotted fawn in a happy and serene surroundings, the Northern Woods (one could interpret them to be the Canadian Boreal Forest, wild and untouched). Her mother, Angel, was the most tender hind existing, Lizbeth got her inability to do harm from her mother. Maxwell Redwood, that fatherly stag, was a proud deer, he wasn’t the prince of the woods, but he had the reputation to be perseverant, fair and right, he might have been seen as one of the next “Prince of the Woods”.
Her mother affectionately called Lizbeth “her little stardust”, because of the numerous white spots in Lizbeth’ fur. One can still today find some of those white fawn markings on Lizbeth’ back.
Lizbeth often thinks about her Mom, when she could cuddle into those long elegant legs of hers. Or when her father made her laugh using his antlers to tickle the little doe, her Mom would have a concerned look.
She never got the chance to have siblings, as….
