Cassiel Bathin

The Archangel Ariel was/is my mother. I am not exactly sure how to categorize her. She only held me once before she had to give me up. From what I understand, she is forbidden by God to come see me. But on with the narrative:

Ariel is a powerful archangel with dominion over nature, the Earth, and its creative forces, including animals, elemental spirits, and the North. She has also been called the spirit of air or angel of the waters of the Earth. She is loyal to God and refuses to test is his laws.

Arakiel is a fallen angel, the second mentioned of the twenty Watchers. Arakiel was one of the angels that stood by Lucifer against God when he started the great rebellion. Arakiel was expelled from Heaven along with a third of the angels from Heaven who had joined them. These beings became known as fallen angels and later classified as demons. I'll get to that story.

Once he was cast out of Heaven, he was one of the fallen to taught humans about the earth. His name - Arakiel - can be translated to "earth of God" and he helped with cultivation.

Mother - Archangel of the Earth and Father - known demon to work with humans on the earth. Twist of fate, darkness drew the light. Wham Bam, thank you ma'am.

It turns out that Ariel and Arakiel were paired in Heaven when they were both angels as watchers over the earth. They were not able to offer assistance, only watch and observe. They did this side by side for hundreds of years before the uprising and Arakiel was cast out of Heaven. Ariel had always missed him - missed the one she had stood next to and observed with - now she observed alone.

The angels that remained in Heaven and on the side of God were not ever allowed to go down to earth to help the humans until the whole Noah's arch thing happened.

Brief summary: The angels that fell from Heaven with Lucifer and Arakiel found themselves wives. They made babies. Scary babies. They were called the Nephilim and were described as giant, powerful beings. Genesis 6:4, which states that "there were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown". So, God sent the flood that wiped out the Nephilim. The archangel Michael turned the wives that had birthed the monsters into sirens and the fallen angels who had bedded the human women were cast into Hell to be driven mad by their wives suffering on earth, which created the evil within them turning them into demons. Noah's arch saves both humans and animals and when all the monsters were dead, the wives delt with and the naughty angels case into Hell the water receded, and the boat landed on dry ground for the saved to rebuild the earth.

Arakiel was not one of the fallen to take a wife and make scary babies, so he was still permitted to stay upon the Earth and help the humans. Ariel was one of the archangels allowed to go down to Earth to offer assistance to the humans as well. Here is the twist of fate - they find each other. Arakiel looked a little different than Ariel remembered him, but he was still recognizable to her. Over time, as they helped the humans and spent their days side by side, it was only a matter of time before corruption happened. Arakiel seduced Ariel and bedded her in great passion, but only once. When it was over, Ariel - ashamed of breaking God's law - left Arakiel and went back to Heaven to plead for forgiveness. She did not know that she returned to Heaven with the seed of evil in her womb.

Ariel gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in the kingdom of Heaven - first and last time that ever happened. God looked upon him and though he was mostly angel, the darkness inside of the baby was evident. He could not remain in Heaven as he could spread corruption amongst the pure and God would never allow another uprising.

Ariel named him Cassiel, meaning God is my wrath, God is my leap.

With a broken heart she sent her son down into Hell to exist amongst the fallen angels. However, Lucifer looked upon him and though the darkness was evident, there was too much Heavenly light in him. Lucifer had the same thought God did but in reverse, this boy might be capable of turning some of his fallen back into the believers and servants of God. Cassiel could not stay in Hell.

God and Lucifer agreed that Cassiel belonged in neither Heaven nor Hell and determined he would be a child of the Earth, to live amongst humans until he was able to choose in his heart whether he was an angel or a demon. They placed him in the very village his parents had helped cultivate together and went back to their respective kingdoms to watch the child and see who would ultimately claim him.
