Alexandra Maximov

Alexandra Maximov never knew her parents. She grew up in the system and learned early on that life doesn’t come easy. She still remembers the flicker of hope she felt every time new people walked in, scanning the group of children, hoping, just maybe, she’d be the one they chose. But despite being cute, Alex was never picked. Her difficult personality made her a handful, and over time, she stopped expecting anything.
By the time she was around 13, Alex had fallen in with the wrong crowd. She stuck with them, picking up odd skills and meeting all kinds of people. At first, it was exciting - something new, something that made her feel like she belonged, something exciting. But a recent, frightening event shook her to the core and made her rethink everything. That moment was a turning point - she decided it was time to get a proper job, one that paid decently, instead working in a shady bar as a bartender among questionable people with low pay.
Her current goal is simple but meaningful - get out of the dingy flat she shares with two friends, find a place of her own, and maybe, get a dog.

Unfortunately, something keeps pulling her to that unpleasant world of hers that's full of people who die young, but lived to the fullest. Maybe that's because all she knows.
