***Please keep in mind anything on this site is strictly ooc information. Your character should not know anything about Carwyn unless they have previously met him, or you can explain reasonably how your character came to learn it. Your character can find out more via roleplay.

This character is only to be used in the Harry Potter Universe.

1) I do not write with children or young adults. If you can’t legally buy beer in the United States of America, get off my page! I require the player to bean adult and the character be the same. I am a Gen X so, honestly, anyone below the age of thirty I have difficulty connecting with.

2) I like drama. Who doesn’t? Drama makes the story interesting. But writing is my release, not a place I come to play therapist. Keep IC and OOC separate, please. If you need a few days to catch your breath and deal with life, I get it. I need that too some weeks. So just drop me a line saying you need a break, and I will wait. But I do not need a lengthy, drawn-out explanation as to why your life sucks right now. My life sucks too, I get it, and more importantly, I Believe You. No proof needed.

3) GHOSTING. It happens. Life happens. Things happen. Tragedy will befall us all at one point in time or another. But please, if you care about our story, or me, just shoot off a quick message – "Shit happened, not coming back for a while. Hope to reconnect in the future.” If you vanish without a word, it is what it is and I understand, but please don’t get mad at me if I choose not to write with you with again in the future. If I happen to disappear on you, the same will go for me.

4) In addition to the above issue of Ghosting, if something about the story isn't working for you talk to me about it. This is supposed to be fun for both of us, not just me. I am more than happy to stop or even back the story up so we can get it back on track. Which leads me to...

5) Proper communication is a requirement. I like to brainstorm, set timelines, set goals, etc. I am not a plan everything ahead of time kinda guy, but I like to have goals to work towards and paths to get us there. I feel this helps us from going off on tangents that throw the story out of whack.

6) If you are into kink, darker themes, or even taboo topics, I am not against them. I only require a few more conversations to establish trust and a full understanding of boundaries. But do not be offended if I am not into the same things you are into. For example: I refuse to participate in Dub-Con or Non-Con. If you want that to be a part of the story, great! But it will not be my character doing the act. You can NPC that shit. Again, this is supposed to be fun for both of us.

7) I post anywhere from three to five (sometimes more) paragraphs. I enjoy detailed posts where we have the opportunity as writers to really allow the character to express themselves. Thoughts, emotions, explain how certain conclusions are rationalized, dive into how they are feeling and processing what’s going on around them. Granted, I am not a snob. I have no problem writing with someone whose posts are smaller as long as they give me what I need to continue the story.

8) I write in 3rd person. I will not write in 1st person. I am not my character; my character is not me.

9) I DO NOT/WILL NOT fade to black. If you don’t want to write an in depth, descriptive, and relatively realistic sex scene, then don’t let the story go there. You are an adult, or you should be. You can make decisions and spin the story so it doesn’t wind up in a steamy embrace. But if the characters do end up erotically entwined and you aren’t feeling it, write your way out. I am not a pervert or a rapist and if you explain how your character declines, it will be respected.

10) Once again, I am an adult that will only write with other adults. With this said, I am going to cuss, often. There will also be other sexually expressive scenes, such as masturbation or vivid dreams. Also, expect nudity, blood, gore, excessive violence, possible killing using magical or physical violence. If any of these things are a HARD NO for you, or trigger you, I am not the correct partner for you. I created this character like I did for a purpose, and I will not tone him down for you.

By you getting to the end of my rules it shows you were not turned off by my churlishness (if you had to look that word up in Google get off my page) and you might be worthy of being a writing partner. It also shows you have respect for me and yourself.
