When Carwyn got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts he was gifted an owl of his choice from his Uncle Dylan. His parents wanted to send him to school with the family's old tabby cat, Potsy, who had slept in Carwyn's bed with him since he was born. But Carwyn, as much as he loved the cat, really wanted an owl - something his uncle stood beside him on. It's that not cats were "cool" but everyone wanted an owl. Plus, it would give Carywn and his Uncle Dylan a way to keep in contact as Dylan traveled playing quidditch.
Carwyn's parents gave in and Uncle Dylan took Crawyn to pick out his very own owl. Carwyn fell in love with a white and tan Barn Owl. By the way the owl looked and acted, Carwyn named him Ghost. He makes a point to see Ghost every day, when he isn't off delivering mail to his parents or his uncle. Carwyn likes to spoil Ghost with treats and stratchies.

🖋️ Faculty Notes (Updated) Deputy Headmistress: “This schedule is… ambitious. If Mr. Carwyn fails Transfiguration, I will personally remove him from his broom.” Charms Professor: “Remarkable control when focused. Less remarkable when sleep-deprived, which appears to be always.” Quidditch Coach: “Top-tier reflexes. Push harder.” General Staff Comment: “We are unsure when the student rests.” ⸻ ⚠️ Special Conditions • Student is permitted: • Two daily Quidditch sessions (mandatory) • Flexible recovery periods at staff discretion • Student is strongly advised to: • Eat • Sleep • Not die during practice His Reasons Why ⚡ Charms • Why: Precision magic = better broom control, faster reactions, cleaner spellwork mid-air • Cushioning charms (crash prevention) • Speed-enhancing enchantments • Non-verbal casting (huge for matches) 🛡️ Defence Against the Dark Arts • Why: Reflexes, dueling, awareness. This is combat training disguised as a class • Fast reaction timing • Reading opponents • Staying calm under pressure 🌿 Herbology • Why: Sounds random… until you remember: • Healing plants • Stamina potions ingredients • Injury recovery knowledge 🔮 Transfiguration • Why: High-level magic = discipline + control • Quick adaptability (thinking on the fly) • Complex spell mastery 📜 Potions • Why: Recovery, endurance, focus • Know anti-fatigue potions • Understand illegal enhancements (and how to avoid getting caught 👀) |
