Note: This version of Di is not the same as the one I played in Challiston Cross many years ago. I consider his story concluded as that RP era came to a close a long time ago. This Di has much of the same backstory, but the slate of those he knows is wiped clean for this version; it's 2008 all over again!
A new start after 10+ years, if I can find a place in Furc to RP in again. The Imaginarium is so quiet :c. Inferno Lounge ftw!

-Di can be an ass! Please don't take this as me disliking you/your character or anything.
-On that note, I'm a bit shy and quiet, but friendly! I'm sometimes drawing while rping. Whisper answers might be delayed, but I'm not purposely ignoring anyone!
-I'm not gonna consent to death or limb loss, etc for Di. That doesn't mean your character isn't allowed to attack or wound him, however!

And remember, most of the stuff on this page is OOC knowledge, to be learned IC.

In the past, there was a lot of confusion with people assuming the dragon or ki-rin avatar represented Di in all aspects, I just wanted to clarify a few things:

-Di is 5'10; he doesn't tower over the crowd.
-Di's wings won't block your character's view or get in their way in most instances. He keeps them tucked against his back pretty tightly, and the tips barely peek over his shoulders. Extended, his wingspan is around 12-13 feet.
-Di's smooth and bald, like a sphinx cat (but much less wrinkly), save for his hair.

Skin/Markings: Black, which shines with purple highlights in bright light. His undersides are a grayish-blue, and underneath his clothing there are spots where they form diamond-like outlines. Wing membranes are a much darker shade of the gray-blue.
Scars:
Badly scarred gouge along the left side of his chest and inner arm - area dips inwards, noticeably.
Claw marks forming a 't' from throat to belly, and shoulder to shoulder.
Injuries:
Scent: Roses. Sometimes a spicy cologne (like cinnamon + allspice), or cedar scent.
Handedness: Right.
Accent: Kasurian. He's put a lot of effort into sounding like the locals during his years on Kasurian soil. His Alemanish accent will make itself known when he's escalated about something.

Personality: Dietrich is a crowd watcher, and his favourite places to be are bustling taverns or busy marketplaces where there are plenty of folk to observe. Di is outgoing, and often warm and friendly towards those who catch his eye, and will try to strike up conversations and learn others' stories. The hybrid is just as happy to occupy a comfy spot and work on small hobbies, allowing people to approach him. Behind closed doors, or away from prying eyes, some may see a more devious side.

Special
-Dietrich's main weapon are spiderweb-like strands of string(invisible in low/indoor light, glinting slightly in sunlight), and are considered a psionic ability.
When attached to friend or foe, he can choose certain sensations for them to feel (pain, pleasure; hot, cold) in varying degrees. These sensations feel real enough, but it's mostly trickery; he cannot do serious physical harm with this string trait.
However, the strings can act as gripping or cutting weapons, due to thinness & strength of them; think of them as wire garrottes. While it is resilient enough to catch blades and possibly stay intact, it easily succumbs to fire or freezing. With enough force, his strings can also be ripped from those they're attached to, severing the connection.
Other psionic abilities of the string include establishing a mind connection between another, for mindspeak, but he cannot use them to mind read. Mind mutes are unaffected by both this and his psionic abilities of his string. It can still ensnare or cut like a blade, however.
Di's strings can also grant him the ability to control other's movements to a point*.
(*OOC note - I'm not going to abuse/god mode this power; I don't play like that. I will okay everything with the player first, if Di uses his strings on anyone's character for any reason.)
-Di has no tolerance for alcohol. He can experience drunkenness like a normal furre, but being the lightweight of lightweights, it happens fast! And illness will always ruin the short-lived fun once his body starts to reject the booze. His tolerance is so poor that a large amount of alcohol in his system can kill him, but he has learned to avoid certain drinks, and knows his limits for when he's feeling adventurous.
-Di has no tolerance for cold temperatures. His wyrmme blood doesn't help this, but his lack of fur is the main issue, and the cold bothers old injuries.

Description
While his build might be perceived as dragon-like on first glance, the details seem to conflict with this. He is devoid of scales and obvious signs of fur; his hide is smooth instead. In truth, Di is more deer than wyrmme, and his furlessness is the result of a mutation. That aside, his looks could almost be considered innocent and 'pretty'. Warm brown eyes bear thick, long lashes and are half-lidded by default, giving him a near-constant look of boredom or fatigue(The latter often seen, for Dietrich suffers from insomnia). His hair is somewhat untamed, the longest strands dangling past his jawline. There is one piece of hair that springs upwards, refusing to obey gravity with the rest of it. Dietrich does sport wings; bat-like, with dark membranes. They are large enough to carry his slender, broad shouldered form easily enough. His obvious weapons are claws that he keeps relatively blunt, and his tail, which is longer than he is tall, and is semi-prehensile and whip-like.
His clothing is simple, but well kept; Di knows what he looks good in. When the weather gets hot, he opts for button up shirts, often leaving a few button undone near his throat and at the bottom of the shirt. Pants are always form fitting (but never skin tight) and black or dark brown - usually leather, or cotton. He's taken to wearing his boots more often, even in warmer weather. In colder weather, layers, and lots of outerwear are his allies.
Despite appearing friendly and outgoing, one may glimpse a sadistic look in those pretty eyes. While he views most beings as playthings, his heart is not so cold that he cannot grow attached.
