A top of the line familiar or biological golem from another world: originally intended for something very specific and ultimately a failed tool, this chimeric vessel is the product of two generations of research with no expense spared. Is technically an artificial being of complex creation and shares aspects of both biological and inorganic golem constructs.

In reality Sullivan is something akin to a flesh golem. While lacking any gruesome patchwork, they are far from typical pleasant and unassuming self when under extreme duress or otherwise unable to 'hold it together'. When exposed to certain forms of magic or otherwise in great distress their form slips into a much deeper uncanny valley. The false human is a doll of wax and molten gold, features vague and almost a mask without definition; mouth partially and sometimes entirely sealed over, skin like melting clay exposing strings and veins of muscle, metal burning from spider webbing cracks in both - bubbling veins of gold all across the body and leaking from eyes, running from nose and sometimes pouring from the vertical tears of skin that pull apart in place of their mouth, golden lines trailing wisps of fine vapor as it evaporates back into the body. What gold normally accumulates on their skin exaggerates, becoming more like scales and feathers.

It is a very rare sight indeed to see the game face betraying construct nature - in fact, looking this way seems to cause them some degree of suffering.

When in this form the alchemical symbol for gold, reversed, displays around their belly button.

This form cannot be seen by means of 'true sight', as it is less of a hidden 'true' form and more of a destabilization. The above symbol, however, can - it is a magical brand of sorts, denoting element.

If your character has any ability to sense quintessence, they will find the burning embers of it in this vessel, an otherworldly energy source that rings of something terribly old. A unicorn might recognize the remains of one of its own, a tattered and incomplete transplanted soul in a chimeric vessel, tainted and warped by the meddling of mad science and dark magic.

Somewhere there is an old forest that has slowly been dying over the course of decades, now a dark and forbidding place gradually turning into a supernaturally fungal swampland of rot and skeletal trees standing in water...
