Ghostie-NO Ghost in the Vale, shes just mentally tweeked!
Darktide is haunted by the spirit of a poisonous snake she killed as a pup after it bit her. The fever caused by the bite also left a wee bit of.... neurological damage as well.
Teeths-NO big teeth in the Vale.
Those big Ol' Sabre teeth of hers. They have their limits, while capable of opening her muzzle wide enough to use the deformed ivories her bite is weaker when utilizing the full effect and she risks dislocating her lower jaw. If it slips out of place she -can- force it back into location but it will be tender and weak for a day or two (Depending on continuity!) -
DragonLands
[WIP -Using what information I could find, and filling in the blanks.]
Native to Drakoria, Wolventaurs are one of several "Kentauri" races of the Dragonlands.
Kentauri: "What there will not be, is modern animal 'taurs." Talz. Sooo... Prehistoric/Extinct varieties only though who doesn't want to be a blast from the past!
Breeding/Social: There are placental direwolf 'taurs and there are thylacine 'taurs. There are placental sabre-tooth 'taurs and marsupial leotaurs. Leotaurs are generally solitary or will mate for life and remain with their partner. Wolventaurs most often keep to groups, packs of 8-20 though loners have been seen. Unlike their feral cousins Wolventaurs do not restrict mating to the Alpha pair though said pair does govern the group.
Diet: Like the other 'taurs, they are sennibals, willing to eat any sentient beings including other Wolventaurs, though this does not mean they prefer it. They are only able to eat meat, and must consume a great deal to live. Large packs have been known to wipe out all the game in a region, then move on. They are violent and survive partly because of their amazing ability to regenerate within a week, though if unable to eat enough the healing will drain and greatly weaken them.
Average/Potential Life span:
-Due to their incredible healing the Kentauri have a complicated life span. Should you be so bold and lucky as to capture a baby one, cage it and keep it pampered and well fed it could live indefinitely, its body subtly repairing time's damage without issue.
-However, their lifestyle and harsh environment more often then not see both male and female alike dying between the ages of 20 and 50 depending on skill, luck, and breeding.
-The exceptionally talented Kentauri, those who make it past the 50 year mark and remain battle active, or at least have seen considerable amount of damage come and go on their bodies suffer a secondary side effect to increased regeneration. Mutation. You can only rewrite the code so many times without making mistakes...that can snowball.
Average Size(Wolventaur only):
Females: 6-8ft long w/o tail. 5-7ft Tall
Males: 7-10ft long w/o tail. 6-9ft Tall
Colours:
Regional: Hues are most often determined by the habitat of the Taur, northern breeds have been known to have a pelt change from dark browns/black to silver/white where winter takes up a long portion of the year. To tawny pale gold, reds, and white hues in the southern dry landscapes.
Dyes: Common amung both males and females, the colours available depend on the natural resources, stones, plants, ect. -
