Kelly has endured less than Quinn, and as a result has become stronger since she never had anyone beating her down. When Jace, their father died, she promised Quinn and herself to become stronger and to take care of herself. Quinn loved this of course, having less need to look after her yet he always kept an eye on her.
The sudden event of their father's death certainly changed her drastically. The once little, harmless and vulnerable girl had grown out to be stronger and stronger, more so in the care of a disguised archangel Gabriel. She had started develop a nasty sense of humor which was put to great use when she recieved her Fortudo Inertium.
A Fortudo Inertium changes along with the personality. At the point where she recieves hers, her personality has grown into that of an independant young woman - even though she was only 16. She had grown a sense of sarcasm and sadism, which she put to use gladly as she wielded her powers.
Following that personality, her Fortudo appeared in the form of a blunt axe. She could deal great damage with the ethereal damage - delivering large amounts of pain but at the same time needing to execute many hits to finally kill. This would cause the victim to suffer, prolonging her 'enjoyment'. She often needs to be calmed down by Quinn to prevent "accidents" from happening.
