Divine Kudos Tearabai

Note that because the word 'Mythic' is being used in the widget above, not that I hold these traits no higher than the everyday fireball hurling caster or a wizard conjuring a tempest. Aside. If you are going to roleplay with this character(or test your combat mettle), know that a majority of the most fatal abilities used from his 'Mythics' are done on NPCs more or less. So don't assume that if you touch him you're skull will be jettisoned from atop your shoulders to somewhere in your rectal region.

Avarice. A segment realm of an alleged demonic kind. A piece of home to the most ruthless entities still yet to be known outside of their own dimension. Synergies have been consumed in planning the hostile take over of other realms by annihilating the existing populace and generating their own breed. Rid the weak but breed the strong. Along taught motto amidst the vast shadow of the vicious armies in each of these segmented scraps of collective conscience. Avarice was sister to eight other lands just like it, harboring similar threats whether greater or lesser but this particular location chose earth to begin its arrival. The shamen of Avarice chanted their devilish arcane words. Aspire from the mass of land sprung forth before these chosen shamen, reaching high into their unholy atmosphere and piercing the sky around it. The rising of such a large structure in combination of such arcane arts caused the ground the roar and shift unevenly while its sister above, their tainted sky cried out with monstrous power that streaked across the pane.

The area around the spire was charged with a force to be acknowledged. Ground and sky as but there was more to such a monument. The charge of allocated energies implied its important to the plans spoken of for the centuries gone and finally, the scheme was set into perfect motion, or so they thought. The gathered crowds of the sinister cheers and bellowed in the excitement that they may finally experience a new world and obey their arch-lords orders to spread and conquer. Many wondered how high this spire extended into their sky but in truth, it had no absolute height. This land finally came to halt in rising and the sky above and ground beneath silenced their wicked howls. Silent streaks of mana charged light streaked across the surface. Ridged in shape it was not yet completed; another transformation was about to occur. This spire only posed as the link to the world they currently reside in and the world they wish to travel to. The arcane words spoken from each shaman's cursed lips changed simultaneously. The rock, dirt and other material began a transformation, altering the ridged shape and offering from the ground up a large stairwell that spires into the vast sky. Each shaman raised their hands to clasp together and seal their words. The current arch-lord stepped forth and rose a clawed hand to silence the excited wicked tongues.

There were no words to be spoken. No moral or pep-talk for he knew a portion of them were sure to die but in this his victory was absolute. Powerful enough to generate as many minions as desired he jutted the hand forth to send the horse forward. Once again the ground rumbled but not on its own accord but by the hurried heavy steps of each individual entity. Those with wings flew and those with feet treading the stairwell. Meanwhile..elsewhere in Avarice, a cold-blooded act against a lesser being had been committed. Unable to attend the so-called rally and witness the event this being was tortured, however, something was also about to be born.. something neither good nor evil. The spark that ignited this life force was initiated by the dying will of a lesser entity that sought power, that ought not to die. The lesser entity had crawled away, legs torn from the body and the fingers of the right hand, broken except for the thumb which was ripped from the hand. With the only workable hand did it crawl, and crawl. Those who attacked this creature left it to die and wallow in its own pain and misery. Those glowing eyes that watched in the distance to ensure the death of the minor creature mocked in a tongue native to them at the dying being. The dirt behind this creature was soaked in its own thick, black blood. How far this creature traveled was short but the will to remove itself from the demons that lurked around it was strong, strong enough that the fading life in its body could not sustain. Pushing itself onto its back, the blood-red sky of Avarice sped along with its tainted clouds. Each breath was a breath to stay alive but there was little to be done. Not being able to accept its death, with such a burning desire to remain among the living and be powerful those ancient spirits that wandered the lands of Avarice watched it. Watching it stare back up at their hovering, ghostly figures as they circled it. The murderous demons that kept their distance, one even gnawing on the leg of their victim. Vision blurring and a faded voice rolling from its lips to ask for help, the spirits did not respond nor move. There was a burst of anger that welled so quickly within it, hating, despising that its life was to end in such a horrid manner did its jaws part and allow a shout to boom from it. Almost a war cry, asking for help and a brief phrase of how it wants to become stronger. Such ambition did it raise its ugly, deformed arm up to the sky, and then the other. Making both hands into the tightest, best fists that the fingers could allow it shouted once more. The spirits that lingered appealed to the plea. The creature's life had faded, eyes becoming lifeless and arms fell. The body remained motionless. The murderous demons that watched from their distance began an approach to feast upon the flesh of their victim after enjoying a sadistic, morbid show off the creature crawling away.

The ancient spirits of fallen the powerful fallen demons had converged into the corpse after the soul and essence had since left the body. Merging with the flesh, beckoning the spirit of the fallen creature back to the body. A black burst of visible energy burst from the corpse. The ancient spirits had begun merging with the very flesh itself. The soul which was reeled back to the corpse it once left was also being revitalized by the growing force within the body. Nestling itself, reattaching itself to its former body did the creature's eyes open. The black energy burned around its perimeter. The approaching demons were set back by such a sudden show of force from.. a corpse? Or what they believed was a corpse and even still an unexplainable phenomenon to them. The mangled body began to re-cooperate, regenerate lost limbs, adjusting and repairing broken bones, sealing split flesh. A black beating heartbeat in its chest. Golden eyes changed, gaining a more human shape. As did the body, bones, and flesh shifted, hair grew on the scalp. The demon appearance was being stripped away. On the ground lay a human figure. The black burning aura around it had dimmed but still remained. Sitting up, the being, identified as a male, looked at his hands in astonishment. A small chuckle after first turned into a burst of laughter. Knowledge poured into his mind on how to use this new body, the capabilities, and the limits. Moving to stand his eyes set on those who had once killed him. The silver hues focusing on each one individually. The next instant was filled with a black light. Tensing himself he began to omit his energy in a whirl of power and force at such an intensity that the demons were annihilated. Torn apart by his energy alone.

On his left shoulder, a tattoo of sorts came to be. The burning aura around him ceased to remain ignited. His abilities were now limited drastically but enough remained to allow him to survive and then some. The ancient spirits spoke to him. Informing him that such power was not yet to be possessed by one so. inexperienced.. the merging of Alternate Earth and Earth was to be his next destination. In reply, he said to them. "My name is no longer Yi'yen. Call me, Divine." The rest of the name he pieced together in his mind was not necessary to speak for they pried into his thoughts to see for their selves. And so, he was off to witness the merging of the two planes unaware that he had missed such an event upon arriving at the site, he could see that his kin was already rushing their way up the spire. "I missed it." Unknowingly was he standing beside his arch-lord? The creature looked down upon Divine with almost unacknowledged eyes until it struck him. The force behind this small, five foot, nine, the male was that greater than his own but was also familiar. His ancestors. "Boy." The arch-lord spoke. "..?" Divine said nothing but only gave the arch-lord a look that pierced through his very soul. "You have the force of those before me. My ancestors. I demand you surrender that force at once!!" Divine's eyes looked down into his hands. A loose charge of black aura circulated around his hands. "I'm sorry but.. they said no." Set back by his response he did what first came to mind, attack and strike Divine down. Raising that clawed hand of his it came down with extreme force. The collision was forceful enough to shred the earth around and even bring up a cloud of dust around the two. Some of the entities that had yet to climb the extensive case of stairs turned to witness the event. Someone actually standing to their lord! The feeling that coursed through their blackened veins was not joy but fear. The dust cloud was whisked away by a sudden release of black aura that spiraled around Divine's footing. The sight to behold was almost unbelievable to those who witnessed.

Divine, a male standing only ye-high had grabbed hold of the arch-lords wrist before impact and sent his fist through the torso with a beating heart held on the other side for Divine's right fist went into the chest to come out on the other side grasping the arch-lords heart. "I don't take orders from you or any of this disgusting breed. I won't kill you because these mongrels need a leader but let it be known that when I return from where this spire leads to I will have your head mounted. Withdrawing his hand back into the Lord's chest to return the beating heart as a healing process took to the arch-lords wound. Once having removed his hand a fierce left-handed upper-cut followed to send the arch-lord back-flipping out of control through the air and landing harshly on an uprising rock from the creation of this linking spire. Those sapphire eyes gazed upon the rising hordes but with little patience to 'wait in line' his body transcended into an intangible black aura and sped hastily up the spire to arrive in the human residence known as Earth. The arch-lords head rose just as Divine did so. "C-c-curse you. I will have their powers.. after so long.. I know where they are. Curse you!!!!!" The voice rang through the tinged air but no one hated to see what their lord was angered with.

On the other side. On earth. During the time the link was being created the very same events took place in the middle of one of the most populated areas. No one knew what to do but the guards of the town stood nearby to protect their fair community. Little did they know they were standing before death in such a fearless manner. The sky around the spire began to tear and turn red, showing the tainted sky of Avarice around its perimeter. The change in height, gravity and direction did send some of the entities toppling over but to no avail, they landed on their feet unscathed to proceed with their carnage.

Time did not hold precedence to Divine, but after so long it was apparent that the gate that spiraled idly in the sky amid the vivid canvas of blue was not going to just disappear. This was accepted and occasionally a few Infernal from Avarice slipped through the gate, whether willing of unwillingly. Having traveled back into Avarice himself after seeing for himself the carnage and destruction to destroy the Spire that let into the Avarice crimson sky. It crumbled underneath his fierce power as did the legions of Infernals led by his prior Superior. The Caste system had been virtually shattered by Yi'Yen's transformation into this humanoid self-proclaimed as Divine. What now? The gate; no longer being connected to the Spiral, went into a sporadic hibernating period, uncommonly becoming active and sending Beasts and Creatures from Avarice into the mortal realm. As if the war had not sprouted about enough Demon Hunters and the like, they still held a purpose because the gate cannot close. almost as though something was keeping it open from the inside. Such a claim could not be determined.

What of Divine? Where was he and what became of him after sending the gate into this distorted state? On the Mortal plane, he argued, bickered and trained himself to harness the abilities granted to him. Every time, however, he felt as though he were worthy enough for another bit of the seal to be washed of him he lost control of it and was back to square one in power but a step further in realization. Divine considered himself The Gatekeeper into Avarice. Although the gate itself was high in the atmosphere; between the Meso- and Thermosphere making it near impossible to reach, during those warring decades between the creatures of Avarice and the Inhabitants of the Mortal Thread an entity had dabbled into opening a back-entrance into Avarice. This entrance into Avarice is very well active, however, has no return point on the other side.

Guard the gate? No problem! Deep within the crevices of a far-off mountain, across rough and unstable terrain where no common traveler could easily stumble upon it, or him where he may train and hone his talents. It was not, however until one of his more recent 'realizations' that he found that he was having moments in his day where he could not remember, yet he had clearly been up and about during these periods of lost consciousness. Sleep walking? This vessel did not know the concept of sleep and thus never sought it. "It's my turn!" A voice erupted from the back of his mind. Divine, baffled pitched a question asking what was meant by that exclaimed phrase. It was female, although the other voice; also femme, chimed in and explained what was about to happen. Words did not seem to adhere to his individual mind until a sudden pain welled up from his chest. There was much resistance and howls in pain resonating within the depths of his cave, but all were Divine's and maybe even. a second voice? Body tossing itself by the strength of one's own legs against the jagged ridges of the cavern wall in futile attempts to make the agony ebb.

Arms crossed over his chest, the bare exposed chest exploded outward sending chunks of black charged with emerald energies forward leaving the rib cage completely dis-configured. Falling onto the ground and curling up, the flesh had begun to melt away. Another burst of black and green ex-sponged from the back of the neck. Grabbing and clawing at the rocky flooring the two-voiced being cried for the pain to go away. Sure enough, the internal battle was lost resulting in the melting of the flesh to stop, but far too late for the body to be anything but recognizable. It was a heap of flesh and bone that resonated chaotic and untamed energies. Divine could see himself drawn into darkness, as though the optics of the eyes were just windows he was peering into the outside world with.. watching the two rays of light shining inward as he fell into darkness.

The mound of discombobulated flesh began to reshape and reform itself. It was as though another person were being built from it. A voice remarked at Divine's resistance being flimsy and child-like met with a short expression of joy. The body was new. All of it. Amid the cavern stood a nude female. Examining the body over she jumped up and down with joy and zeal. "Kudos! Teara!" Calling two names solely familiar with Divine's identity. Through the female's eyes was she able to see three other individuals, one bound and seemingly forced to kneel before the tangible female. "I like this one!" Running her fingertips along smooth, pale skinned mid-section. There were two males amongst the intangible who appeared to her; one is bound and the other standing a decent distance away from the other intangible female. The male remarked that perhaps a fitting attire should also be chosen. This was agreed upon without dispute as a green column of energy engulfed her form from floor to ceiling very briefly. Around the woman had been generated an all black set of clothing. "Bai, maybe you should give him back the body so he does not presume we've betrayed him." The other female said in a soft tone.
