Appearance: Usually that of a sweet young man, about 18 years old, though he sometimes alters himself to look a bit older or occasionally younger. He has a kind, boyish look, and an almost perpetual relaxed smile. With wispy, medium-short, platinum blonde hair and light blue eyes, he could even pass as angelic. His body frame usually leans to the ectomorphic side. He dresses his thin body in light-colored clothes - typically pale, neutral t-shirts and washed-out jeans. Someone perceptive enough and particularly skilled at reading people might notice a certain deadness to him, hidden behind the gentle cheer and soft words.
To those who can perceive auras, an initial impression hardly seems like anything noteworthy, just perhaps a bit of an "old soul." That first impression is a flimsy cover, and further investigation might give the impression of something like stagnant water, a faint, bitter laughter, and potentially some little glimmer of something lively and frightened. To press still deeper, the sense of something warped and wrong grows and it may seem some sharp-toothed beast lurks within that stagnant water.
To those with an exceptional sense of smell, beyond any scent of streets, perfumes, or crowds he might be carrying, it might be possible to notice a smell of dank mud and dying lakeweed, and possibly blood. Oddly, it may seem hard to tell whether these are actual scents, or if they are impressions or feelings.
Personality: On the surface, he seems kind, charming, and upbeat, often helpful and light-humored. Even when furious, he maintains his smile. Hidden beneath this façade, he is a cruel, wicked creature that feeds on the very life force of others. He takes great delight in tearing a person down after winning their trust, but nothing is so satisfying as murder. Even so, he passes through the lives of most people as nothing and no one of note, having no defined method of choosing targets.
There are also more "positive" things that he enjoys. He is fully capable of recognizing beauty, both visual and auditory; he even learned to play piano, violin, and harp, and can paint reasonably well. He also has an appreciation for cuteness, and can watch things such as the antics of baby animals for hours - after which he may or may not kill them.
