Raised in the deep South of the United States, Tom moved to Alaska upon hitting his twenties, where lumberjack work was plentiful with trees abound. Many uneventful years would pass , in which he would find a wife and start a family. Everything was perfect for the former Southern-boy until that fateful day where he just had to cut down that creepy-looking tree that stood alone in the forest. From that day forward, he'd be plagued with whispers. Whispers, from the trees. Whispers that told him to do things. Bad things.
Logan's world would be rocked to the core after the brutal and tragic deaths of his wife and children. The official cause of death was deemed a mauling by a bear, which was closer to the truth than anyone at the time could realize. . Perhaps seeking to atone for the deep guilt he felt for his involvement in the death of his family, Logan would change careers, the once-lumberjack becoming a firefighter-paramedic.Fleeing his second 'home', a decade of state-hopping would follow, marred by further bear attacks along the way. He would land in the city of New Versailles where he'd soon learn that there are some things you just can't run from.

Logan would soon find out just how futile it was to flee his past, after less than a year of residing in the city. The rise of Malichorm and her hoarde of undead left the man literally facing his past, with visions of those he killed coming to him first in dreams, and then in the flesh as the dead 'walked' among the living. Run ragged by lack of sleep, a series of misadventures would befall the man, from wrecking the ambulance en route to a call, to forced probation, and ending with abduction by Malichorm herself.
He would emerge well the worse for wear from his encounter with the 'green eyed lady', barely escaping with his life after Malichorm dragged him into her domain, mauling him and leaving him for dead. Marked by the demon, both in the literal and figurative sense, he would be thrust into the losing side of a violent and bloody battle, forced into a massive incarnation of the werebear and turned loose against the citizens of New Versailles. Once the smoke would clear, New Versailles was left victorious, but Logan, critically wounded and carted off by Lazarus' Operatives, would not engage in the victory celebrations. A long, arduous period of recovery would follow, before the man left the city to find greener pastures.
Logan now looks toward the future, while still haunted by his past.
