Itami Demonic

Obsidian horns sprouted from the sides of her cranium and shot out at a slight angle backward only for a bit of a bend at the ends sending them to the front, a pair of pointed ears set just below those horns traveled along the same initial angle. Luxurious hair which was silver in color rained down like silk from her head, it's length seemed to vary though she seemed to prefer keeping it just at the shoulders if not a bit beyond them. It was a stark contrast to her fair toned flesh which possessed odd deep red markings flowing along her body, whether it was runes or some ancient language was not easy to tell at a glance. She wore something resembling a bodice of thin and tight black leather with deep red trim, bore similar markings as her body. The bodice wrapped about the neck leaving her shoulders and back mostly exposed as it came down her front over a bountiful chest. The material would wrap around her back in a two inch strip at her mid back while a one inch strap ran down her abdomen to spread out and form a bottom covering. The leather material wrapped about her arms as a pair of detached sleeves which began low on the biceps and came down to the hands to form fingerless gloves, similarly legged started at mid thigh encased those lush legs and running down to her feet to form around them leaving ankle and toes exposed. From her back a pair of powerful wings grew out with skeletal structure of the same obsidian color as her horns with oh so sharp talons. The wings themselves were a deep red in color and while one might expected a leather appearance instead they possessed an almost metallic sheen. Adding to her arsenal of natural offense were nails which looked more like claws the same color as her flesh at end of fingers and toes as well as two sharp fangs within her mouth often seen poking out with a mischievous little smirk. She was often seen wielding a large scythe made of a peculiar material, the surface at times seemed to flow like liquid, its color the blackest of blacks with red markings similar to those on her skin which pulsed with power along the blade as well as the shaft, the weapon measuring about six feet in length. Overall she had deadly and provocative appearance rolled into one which belied her kind demeanor and pure heart, just another example in life that showed not everything was exactly as it appeared.

A different plane of existence all it's own, the origin place of the Primordial Demon race. There are those that believe The Void is in fact the Shadow Lands or the Dark World or some other various and sundry dark or shadowy realms or dimensions. The problem with this theory is that each of those realms are described to be quite different from each other and most especially from The Void. Some contain actual land and fantastic dark and dangerous creatures that stalk the realm. Or even a twisted world that mirrors the mortal world. However The Void is nothing like how any of these realms are described.

The Void is the realm of origin for Primordial Demons, it is unknown if it always appeared as it currently does or if it too changed and evolved much like those beings which originated from it. They are the only beings known to be able to create a stable passage to this realm. Attempts are creating a stable passage seem to always end up in failure or brief catastrophic formation of a portal which pulls in everything in it's reach until it collapses, the atypical way The Void gets.. populated by various things.

Rather it is a realm which is naturally one of complete emptiness and darkness, devoid of all light and life... or so it would seem. There is nothing found naturally within The Void thus anything that may be found there was either placed or brought into the realm by a Primordial Demon or somehow ended up there through a mage's or some other magical users mishap or even some sort of cosmic mishap. The unnatural objects and even land masses that litter the realm vary greatly in size, shape, and origin and are often vastly spread apart from one another. With all that in mind it certainly appears that The Void is indeed it's very own unique realm.

Fallen angels... or demons as some call them, however that name isn't apt until these once immaculate divinely created beings fall even further. Angels cast out, fallen from grace and separated from their creators love and power. A shell of their former selves in strength, ability, and power. In desperation they offer prayers in hopes of being heard, of being taken back and granted their former glory. Their creator never answers and as the desperation and sorrow grows those prayers go out without direction and what the Fallen may or may not know is that The Void is listening.

It is unknown if it is the realm itself or those beings that were born from it which answered the calls of the Fallen, perhaps it is both. How exactly the first Fallen came to form a pact that dark shadowy realm and it's denizens is not known for sure, some imagine a powerful god-like being emerging from an portal as black as the abyss and offering the Fallen their own brand of salvation. What is known is that these days the process is near automatic, once a Fallen Angel decides they will forsake their creator and embrace something else to make the feeling of emptiness go away they are embraced by The Void.

A Fallen has but two choices; turn to The Void or languish without the love and power of their creator, most choose the former. Once they head down that path it is very rare for them to be able to turn back. Their essence and bodies twisted and transformed by the dark magics of The Void... becoming what are commonly called demons. Of course not all demons are created this way and not all were once Fallen, such great variety there is in existence.
