Xor'Athalos

Xor'Athalos is a perverse, bestial creature. Violence and dark themes are the name of the game. If you're uncomfortable with either of those, Xor isn't the character for you. The lordly wolf is manipulative, hedonistic, and he will use your characters as much as (and in any way) he can. If you have a character that's meant to support a domineering (literal) motherfucker or you're itching for a well-written fight scene, step on up. Plot is definitely do-able, but Xorath barely fits into an anti-hero archetype. He's an unpredictable wild card at best, has difficulty relating to mortal beings, and will always serve his own interests first. If you want heavy plot, it will need discussed. Xorath will not be deviating from what/who he is.

I can be a slow poster at times, and my availability can be spotty. Try as I might, I'm ADHD as fuck. Life also always has to come first, and I'll generally just log into whatever RP medium I feel like on any given day as I'm able. I pair best with people who understand these things and/or just generally have a chill vibe. If I haven't posted in a good while, go ahead and poke me.

Xorath is a non-consent character. The important thing to remember is that this is a guideline. It's not proper to walk up and maim him without in-character reason, and it's very bad form to not let me have him react to something that's happening. Non-consent status is not a free pass to power play. By all means, have your character try to collar him, extort him, steal his property, or place some scars across his body. Poke an eye out, pull teeth, nails, his tongue. I am open to any action or consequence he has coming, but you have to be reasonable about it. If you want that free pass to power-play a bit, discuss how he might be restrained so that your character has free reign. Otherwise, if I don't like how things are playing out, or I'm just straight up not enjoying the scene then I will kindly let you know and discuss what we can do to correct it. Whether that's a fade to black or an adjustment to a post depends on the situation.

Let me know if something isn't working for you. I'll certainly provide the same courtesy in the most polite way I can. I won't take things personally if RP needs to stop, and I expect that from my partners as well. Even in the case of an OOC issue, I will always be open to communication and public RP. At the end of the day, RP is supposed to be an enjoyable collaborative activity between at least two people, sometimes a whole community. The world is a surprisingly small place. Be civil and cordial at the very least.

Xorath is a highly sexual character, and he'll probably stay that way until his likely well-deserved demise. In-character interaction is where the lewd stuff stays, however. I'm alright with smut, but it needs to have purpose. Plot or character development, or even just mental or physical consequences. I may flirt (sometime by sheer accident), but I'm not interested in OOC intimacy. Any emotes in the main window, whispers, or even ancillary chat programs are all considered IC in my mind. I consider Xorath to be the product of a lot of investment and I do love the bastard, but he is very much separate from who I am and how I wish to interact. Please respect that boundary.
