Morbus Legacy

He stood fifteen feet tall, teeth protruding from his closed lips like the jagged spires of a mountain range. The great Morbus Stonetoof stood triumphant, surveying the ruined body of the monster-whale with a heady mix of satisfactions and hatred.
A once mighty creature, he had broken it with the strength of his vessel and the fury of his cannons, hooks burrowed into it's flank and barrels filled to the brim with poisons that fouled the water. Together his weapons had killed the creature that had terrorized this desolate patch of ocean for well over four decades.
In the wake of this giant and his victory a lowly servitor dared speak "Surely this is the last one, Lord Captain?" Morbus scowled and spat in contempt "No."
"But it's a good start."
