Personality

• Jas is generally very withdrawn and does not like interacting much with people. This is not because he was treated badly in the past, or things of the like. It is because he is incapable of speaking and communicating with others without resorting to sign language – of which – he has learned many people have not even bothered with learning. So he usually just ends up getting laughed at by people that cannot understand the ‘crazy hand motions’ that he tries to convey at times.
  
  Overall, Jas is pretty calm, cool, and collected – usually finding less and less things to get startled or upset by. The only things that really seem to annoy Jas are people that seem to dismiss his inability to speak, and people that cannot even recognise sign language, or get the hint that he cannot speak at all.
  
  If someone actually bothers to stick around Jas, instead of getting bored by the fact that he cannot talk, then it may be observed that he has the ability to smile. Jas actually does enjoy company from other people – he just does not have high hopes for people because he has seen so many people come and go. People that get bored because he cannot talk and effectively make someone laugh, or interested, or whatever else there may be.
