  • Personality: Much of her true personality seems to be hidden behind a facade of smiles and polite regard. Calm outer shell cages an impressive array of emotion and mannerisms not often permitted to surface. Rash impatience comes with stress and while slow to anger, once the blaze is lit, it won't be contained.
  • Mannerisms: Smiles are offered more as defense, a wall between her and the rest of the world. Stress brings on messing with her hair, and by nature she is a fidgety creature. Should she fall still, it is a sign of trouble more often than not.

• Description

  Full Dragon Form:
  Ebony scales are offset by intermittent flashes of violet and gold. The same violet hue webs across the membranes of large wings that when not utilized in flight, are folded gracefully down her back. Silver horns crown her head, almost seeming to break free from the wild mane of violet that surround them. Another more blade like horn hides in another large tuft of violet decorating the tip of her tail. Long and slender frame favors speed and aerodynamics over the girth and size most coveted for strength and fighting. Large ears frame facial features that are sculpted to perfection, large reptilian orbs burning a bright amethyst hue, a color that is quick to change at any time and give away current mood. Silver claws, glint in whatever light is offered, a deadly reminder for those around her. Movements are most often made in cat-like fashion, a huntress with the whole word as her playground.
  
  Demi-form:
  A more reasonable form when indoors, she trades large bulk and four limbed gate for walking on two legs, standing at a reasonable 5'3, and weighing in around 115-120 lbs. This doesn't count the horns that still grace her brow and skull, an impressive sight in either form she takes. Scales so fine as if to pass for skin cover face and majority of frame, normal scaling returning to run from elbow to wrist and from just above knee to ankle. Her frame in general mimics that of a human woman,an ample chest balancing out a slender waist. No hour glass figure for sure, but pleasing enough to the eye. Wings, sized down relative to the rest of her, fold into place against her back, deadly tail trailing behind. Long slender fingers are tipped with silver nails, a more practical application though no less sharp. High cheekbones and a delicate nose contrast nicely with the bright orbs set below scaled brows. Wild mane falls just past then middle of her back, a thick mass of waves and curls that stand a challenge to tame. Bare before the world after shifted to such a form, she boasts little care for modesty, only donning the confining garb of society for the benefit of those around her.
  
  Human Form:
  Rarely seen these days, it is a form the young queen avoids. Ebony scales are replaced by pale skin, violet mane traded for white locks, most often tamed into a braid. Wings, Tail and claws recede, leaving tapered ears and serpentine eyes, along with crown of horns to betray her for anything but human. Arched brows and high cheekbones, balance out delicate nose and stubborn chin well. A pair of tinted glasses decorate her features, protecting overly sensitized eye from excessive light. Attire is kept simple, varying by what circumstances may require of her.

  Here and now...
  
  Time once had her dogging her elder sister's heals as traveled the many realms outside their own of Tundara. Now having reached the age of full maturity, it is this young queens turn to strike out and make her own path. This is her right of passage. All too soon will she have to return and settle into the life and demands set before her by the clan. Before that happens, she strives to learn all she can from everywhere she travels, hoping that when the time comes to return home, that she is able to bring back enough experience and memories to last her the centuries to follow as she takes her place amidst the leading royalty. Already her elder siblings have traded their duty and loyalty to the clan for desires of their own. In her mind, this leaves her no escape from the ever tightening hold of the future her elders demand of her. Will she allow such a noose to ensnare her, or will she too rebel against it as those before her have? It is not something she likes to think on and so she tries her best not to. One day at a time right? Or perhaps a century or two...
  
  A past not far forgotten...
  
  Nyx was born the fourth and final child to the Dragon King Arigu Flameheart and his heart companion Aria, a human sorceress whose original aim had been to magically entrap the dragon as her familiar. Instead the woman had found herself snatched from a sure death and given a new start in life, one that with the unexpected complications of having ingested a good amount of dragon's blood, involved an extended life span and some minor dragon-like attributes. Years would prove that despite these changes, no child could be conceived. Desperate, Aria turned to her spells, eventually able to conceive but at a great cost to herself. Four children, not one hatched from an egg as another dragoness might lay, but born live, their appearance and forms close to that of an average human child. Age and maturity would prove to bring out the use of both demi and full forms, but each child faced a long road before such was obtainable. With the birth of Nyx, her mother's health took a turn, the woman forever more of poor health.
  
  Her mother in no condition to look after a small child, her upbringing fell to on of her older siblings. Time would see the child forcing an early shift to her full form, a heavy toll taken as her mind now had to cope with the feral half that had till now been suppressed. Learning to balance feral instinct and rational mind was only one step, one she took at an avalanche pace. Her siblings did their best, dealing out a strict training less she turn wild. Her clan was less understanding, the elders still unhappy despite her rush to appease them. A few grudgingly took her under their wing though and so in time she came to fully control each aspect of herself. Many the year would pass and life would go on. Her elder siblings would all eventually strike out on their own paths away from the clan, none of them so keen on this being where they belong. For a time she followed at the heals of her sister Ciara who spent some time amidst the human population, eager to learn of that side of their lineage. Eventually Nyx would return to her clan, this time turning to the ancients to learn from. These truly feral dragons put her to the test, one she never quite knew the outcome of.
  
  Time is only relative in terms of growth for dragons, the more time that passed dictating how large one might grow. Maturity came and with it her own stirrings to explore. Following in her silblings' steps, she too went to take on the different realms. Not before being reminded though, as all her siblings had been, that soon enough she was expected to return as potential heir of the Clan King, muddled blood or not.
