Born within the beautiful city of Alto Mare, Pixie was born with a peculiar name because her parents originally thought that they could not conceive a child, and because her parents never really planned to name a child because of it. In the time that Pixie was being carried by her mother, her parents had decided on her father's sister's name for a middle name, and her mother's favourite fantastical creature as a first name. Growing up, Pixie never really minded this -- she liked the name... even if it did get her made fun of.
When she was old enough to become a Trainer, Pixie had been gifted her first Pokémon -- a baby Ledyba no bigger than Pixie's head at the time that she named Konpeito. Of course, Pixie's parents were not wealthy enough to afford anything that had been imported from outside regions like Kalos or Unova... but nevertheless, Pixie was very happy with Konny, and the two of them had become the best of friends in their youth.
After turning thirteen, Pixie travelled through most of Johto and Kanto once she earned enough allowance money, collecting badges on a rare occasion. It was never really her dream to challenge the Pokémon Leagues, but the gym battles were always fun, and talking with Gym Leaders were always fun conversations while they lasted -- which is why Pixie chose to do them. Pixie returned home about a year later and proceeded to study further, earning a place in one of Goldenrod's more esteemed high schools at the age of fifteen.
Konpeito eventually evolved into a Ledian, and Pixie swelled with joy; she was rather proud of the moment when Konpeito evolved since it had taken years. Other than that, in Pixie's stay at Goldenrod, she also came across an Eevee from a breeder that she adopted and named Marzipan. Curious about the breeding project that the person that let Pixie adopt Marzipan had going on, Pixie stuck around and learned about caring for and taking care of expanses of land. Pixie also learned how to handle Pokémon as a rancher with a dedicated lifestyle. The teachings were rather insightful, and it led Pixie to wanting to own her own homestead at some point -- with as much winnings as she saved up from battles, she started to put it into a bank and invest in a future living plan.
While Pixie attempted to work with the Eevee breeder after she turned seventeen and earn more money with side jobs, she attended college to double major in psychology and human studies. When Pixie had gotten her first ink -- a hollow, five-point star on her inner left ankle, she met with someone and decided to date for a little while before deciding that the dating scene was not exactly her thing at that time. After the break up, she then went to a Unovan Conference as an aspiring breeder.
Pixie drowned herself in her studies, inspired by all the things that she saw and learned while in Unova. Castelia City had so much to offer her, both in and out of the Conference, that it simply amazed her. All the things she did not know, and all the things she ended up being able to teach others that she had learned in regards to Pokémon breeding, and simply the biology of some Pokémon -- especially those from Kanto and Johto natively that people in Unova were not often in contact with.
Getting back to Johto, Pixie studied even more, and planned for more trips to attend certain seminars and events. Purchasing a plot of land at twenty-two, Pixie was ready to start putting her plans into action. She had learned a lot, and she was ready to make a name for herself. In addition, she had also taken up a hobby of baking. As a show of goodwill to her neighbours, no matter how far away they were, she had baked goods and offered them. Eventually, her plot not only became a sweets-themed ranch, but also a place where people could get custom ordered baked goods that were freshly made by the time they got there.
But first, Pixie also had to make do with the worn down house that came with her plot of land. While she could only take care of so many Pokémon at a time, it was she and her Pokémon that made quick work of fixing up the house and making it livable once again before the land was officially opened for rehabilitation, training, and breeding.
However, the life of a rancher would not suffice, and so Pixie continued going to her classes, graduating with a four year degree a year after having purchased her ranch. While times were kind of tough financially, Pixie took up volunteer work as a child counsellor and 'big sister', as some people put it. On top of managing her ranch, Pixie continued striving for a higher position and eventually got it after someone a little higher on the food chain reviewed her resume and called to have Pixie instated as a social worker for children.
A lot of her work had to be carried out at home and through online and phone support before Pixie had been able to start putting money toward transportation and hiring some hands for helping out at Candy Land Acres. With Pixie's being a social worker, she had stepped out more than once in a week, and had started to get stressed with the work piling on. With breeding work starting to work out for her, however, she prioritised it and offered to only be a work at home social services support hotline with only monthly appointments that had to be scheduled and approved.
Getting some rest and relaxation at home with less to do after reworking her schedule, Pixie got to meet more with her neighbours and got to know them further. Outside of the ranch help of Marie and Mathieu and getting to know them as more than hired help, but as friends as well -- Pixie got to make friends with the neighbours that were a good walk away here and there.
